2017 New York Comic Con Review: Day 2

2017 New York Comic Con

Friday, October 6th 2017
Jacob K. Javits Center, New York, NY

Our Score: 3 out of 5 Stars

All things pop culture descended on New York City specifically The Jacob K. Javits Center as the sprawling complex once again played host to the annual New York Comic Con held on October 5th-8th. The event now in its 11th year was once again put on by the Connecticut based company Reed Pop a company who organizes some of the largest pop culture events around the country. 2017 proved to be no exception and despite having to deal with a smaller venue space due to construction the event still boasted an over whelming number of vendors and appearances by some of the biggest names in comics, film and television.

Day two of the four day convention this year seemed a bit lacking in the way of panels and events as compared to previous however that did not thwart our attempt to take in the massive show floors and numerous cos-players as the con is always one we look forward to attending each year. Right off the bat we noticed that the entry to the event was much easier than in previous years as there was now two different entries for single/multiple day pass holders. This dramatically cut down the once endless serpent like line which in previous years engulfed the outside areas of the center. Despite a quicker entry once inside you could instantly see that the construction taking place in several key areas of the center such as the section which normally houses artist alley was causing large bottle necks of immovable lines. For those wanting to meet their favorite artist or creator gone was the spacious, well lit corridor which was always a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the main show floors but instead this year creators and artist were relegated to one of the structures basement levels which caused for a less than pleasurable viewing experience complete with cramped/impassible walk ways and a heightened room temperature that at times almost took your breath away.

After a couple escalator rides we made our way on to the main show floors. This area also seemed to take on the brunt of less floor space in other areas as walk ways and vendor spaces seemed much smaller than in previous years. As always the Funko booth commanded a lot of attention as those fortunate enough to be selected in the lottery process waited in endless lines in hopes to purchase one of the sought after convention exclusives. During our time at the booth we had the chance to grab a quick autograph from WWE Superstar and Funko Enthusiast Zach Ryder who had stopped by to check out his NYCC exclusive Pop! figure. Other notable vendors were the Middle Earth “Shadow of War”  booth which featured a life size dragon which convention goers could have their pictures on and Marvel vs. Capcom’s replica Ultron and throne display both of which garnered long wait times just to get a glimpse of.

Before leaving for the day we made quick stop in the autographing area which as always is a popular stop for most attendees. Some of the big names this year included Michael Rooker, Peter Capaldi and Mark Hamill among a long list of others. With prices ranging from $40 to $300 per signature we did not spend a lot of time in this area but there were plenty of others anxiously awaiting to spend their hard earned cash to meet their favorite actors and actresses.

With more and more events/panels being held off site it makes me question just how much longer the Javits center will remain a viable location for the Con. With early attendance figures coming in at around 200,000 for the four days the event shows no signs slowing down. Hopefully the center will be back to full functionality for next year’s event as the lack of space definitely impacted all aspects of the event. Either way, we can not wait for next year.

What Is Still Going to Happen in the Esports Industry in 2017?

We have completed half of the year 2017, and so far we have had many exciting developments in the esports sector. The International DOTA 2 tournament was one of the most striking organizations. The biggest prize in DOTA 2, which is the world’s largest e-sports tournament, was $ 20,770,000 this year. The winner of the tournament (Chinese Wings Gaming team) won a total of $ 9.140,000. In other words, every member of the team earned approximately $ 1.9 million. The sector grew by 41.3% compared to 2016. This is an incredible rate, and no other industry has experienced such growth. In the first six months of 2017, the size of the e-sports sector reached $ 300 million. Analysts expect total revenue will be close to $ 600 million before the end of the year. If the pace of growth continues, it will become a $ 1.5 billion industry in 2020.

This Is a Big Industry

This situation gained the attention of large companies too. One of the most profitable industries at the moment is the e-sports sector. Only the value of the media rights is 95 million dollars. (In 2020, it is expected to reach half a billion dollars.) In other words, global brands and intellectual properties are increasingly taking place in the esports industry. The figures are impressive: Every e-sports fan spends an average of $ 5.2. It is estimated that there are over 200 million fans worldwide. No other kind of sport has this mass of followers. (You can visit https://www.gg.bet for details.) The number of followers is expected to reach 286 million by 2020. This is a very high rate: The e-sports followers are growing almost 36% every year. 71% of the fans are male and between 21-35 years old. However, the interest of women in this sector is increasing too.

Upcoming Developments

So, what kind of developments do we expect until the end of 2017? According to estimates by industry professionals, we can list these developments as follows:

  •        Focus on Churners. Have you heard the phrase “churner” before? It is used for players who take a break after starting a game. These types of players play without interruption for a certain period of time and then stop playing for a few months. E-sports companies have been setting their strategies according to beginners and the professionals, until now. However, the research shows that 18% of the churners can be convinced to return to the game much sooner. In other words, it is possible to shorten the duration of the break. Since these types of players prefer to buy items to compensate for their lost time, they are one of the main income sources of developers. In 2017 and over the next few years, we will see new strategies and campaigns for churner players.

  •         More Intellectual Property. As we mentioned above, high-profit rates attract the attention of all companies. Surveys show that the players love games that include characters and heroes they are already familiar with. For example, Hearthstone gained popularity very quickly for this reason. (You can visit https://gg.bet/en/hearthstone for details.) For this reason, we will start to see well-known intellectual properties much more often in both current and newly developed games. We saw the latest example of this in “FormulaE” game. Played at the same time as the Formula 1 races, it became popular in a very short time. According to gossips, global brands such as Disney, Universal Studios, and Marvel are also preparing to enter the sector.

  •         Mobile Gamers Are Important. There is a generation that grew only by playing mobile games: They never played games on the computer or used the consoles. This generation prefers to play games only with mobile phones and tablet PCs. This generation of “mobile-only” players represents the future of the industry, as they can play anywhere and anytime. In other words, game developer companies are gradually beginning to focus on games that run on mobile platforms. By the end of 2017 and in the years to come, we will see a much larger number of mobile e-sports games.

  •         Ecosystem Integrations. Twitch is at the forefront of companies conducting the integration work. E-sports games are now being developed with the ability to support social media and live broadcast platforms. You do not have to use an external program. Twitch Prime is one of those cases. If you broadcast the game you play, you gain access to special levels, achievements and even new game modes. The goal is to create a complete ecosystem for players and provide all the features they’ll ever need without leaving the game. This also changes the process of developing games. We will soon begin to see e-sports games with features like “Twitch Exclusive”. As a matter of fact, Amazon Game Studios is working on similar systems too.

No Major Tournaments until the End of the Year

There are no other major tournaments to be organized by the end of 2017. Local events and competitions will continue, but we have come to the end of the organizations that award million dollar prizes. Likewise, there is no new AAA game we expect to be released by the end of the year. However, there are many games planned for publication in 2018.

Finally, let’s talk about an interesting report published in Newzoo.com: E-sports betting industry is much bigger than predicted. According to estimates, the betting sector is now more than half a billion dollars in size. In other words, the betting industry is bigger than e-sports sector itself. At present, most of the big companies do not enter this sector, so the exact figures are unknown. However, we can say that these large numbers will soon be of interest to them. In other words, the e-sports betting sector will grow rapidly in the coming years.

Concert Review: 2017 “K-Rockathon”

“K-Rockathon”
Korn, Stone Sour, Skillet, Yelawolf, Ded, Red Sun Rising
Wednesday, July 19th, 2017
Lakeview Amphitheater, Syracuse, NY

Our score: 3.5 out of 5 stars

The sprawling Lakeview Amphitheater was filled nearly to capacity on July 19th for the return of K-Rock’s annual “K-Rockathon”. After a one year hiatus and moving to a new venue the concert was back as promised delivering a stellar, somewhat diverse bill featuring the likes of Yelawolf, Stone Sour and Korn which the Syracuse crowd went crazy for.

Kicking of the main bill of the show was upcoming rock act Red Sun Rising who put on a brief but spot on set which helped get the crowd going and excited for the acts to come. Ded would hit the stage next and sadly did nothing for me. The band’s sound was nothing new nor, was the white contact lenses some of the bands member donned. Thankfully their set was brief as it came off very flat. Shady Records artist Yelawolf would take the stage next flanked by a giant riser that looked like the front of a classic Chevrolet complete with working lights and smoke. Together with DJ Klever the duo had the crowd on their fit from beginning to end. Being the only hip-hop artist on an all rock bill can certainly make you the underdog however that was definitely not the case here as fans seemed to be really into the performance. Skillet would follow with an energetic set which had fans singing to a few of their more well known songs including “Feel Invincible”, “Hero” and the always popular “Monster”. The band looked great and sounded even better and those on hand showed their appreciation in giant waves of applause and cheers. Stone Sour was up next and wasted no time getting their set under way. Front-man Cory Taylor worked the crowd like the season pro he is while his fellow band mates put forth stellar performances as they shredded through songs like “Made of Scars”, “Tired” and the chart topping “Song #3”. At several points during the set Taylor either made his way out into the crowd or doused those in close proximity with showers of confetti via a giant cannon like shooter. It was hard to tell who was having more fun the band or those watching the band as the energy during the set was definitely at a high. Closing out the night were veteran metalers Korn. After making a couple trips around the venue and seeing all the various Korn apparel that was being worn you could clearly tell who people were there to see. As soon as the band hit the stage basked in blue and white light it was on. The 5 piece band from Bakersfield, California were straightforward in their approach and wasted no time between songs as they gave the Syracuse crowd exactly what they came for. Hits such as “Falling Away From Me”, “Got The Life” and “Freak On A Leash” seemed to grab the biggest applause while deeper tracks such “Shoots And Ladders”, “Twist” and “Make Me Bad” satisfied longtime Korn fans.

It was great to see K-Rock fulfill their promise with the return of this year’s “K-Rockathon”. When an annual concert that has been around for 20 years decides to take a year off you sometimes question will it ever come back? Thankfully it did and the hometown crowd definitely showed their appreciation by coming out in droves on a Wednesday night to fill the expansive new venue. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year.

1.) Taipei Person/ Allah Tea

HIM ANNOUNCE BANG & WHIMPER TOUR 2017
LOVE METAL LEGENDS HIT THE ROAD FOR THE LAST TIME

Pre-sale goes live 6/14
General on-sale follows Friday – 10AM Local Time.

Following a long radio silence, Finnish rock giants HIM have announced the Bang & Whimper Tour 2017, closing the final chapter on their 26-year career. Front man Ville Valo offers, “After quarter of a century of Love and Metal intertwined we sincerely feel HIM has run its unnatural course and adieus must be said in order to make way for sights, scents and sounds yet unexplored. We completed the pattern, solved the puzzle and turned the key. Thank you.”

Formed in 1991 by vocalist Ville Valo, guitarist Mikko “Linde” Lindström and bassist Mikko “Migé” Paananen, HIM truly stand out as one of the rock world’s most unique acts. Beautifully blending metal, goth and hard rock with deep, thoughtful and moving lyrics, HIM offered the world a new take on the metal genre, which became known as Love Metal (also the title of their fourth album).

Over the course of eight studio albums, HIM captured the hearts and minds of fans across the globe, drawn by their irresistible and inimitable style. Under the banner of their Heartagram logo – a potent symbol encapsulating the juxtaposition of the light and dark, the fierce and forlorn, and the evil and love found in their music – HIM filled venues and crashed charts the world over, collecting numerous awards, gracing countless magazine covers and becoming the first Finnish act to achieve Gold status in the USA.

Now, four years after the release of their last studio album ‘Tears On Tape’, HIM are saying farewell, taking in 14 countries across 35 shows for their final goodbye. Bassist Mige shares, “At the end of 2017 we will be released into the wild. Before this event of great transformation, we would love to offer you one last chance to experience our live performances in His Majesty’s service. It shall not be a weepfest, but a celebration of love metal in all its lovecraftian glory! See you there!” HIM is Ville Valo (vocals), Mige (bass), Linde (guitar), Burton (keyboards), and Kosmo (drums).

Film Review “The Mummy (2017)”

Directed by: Alex Kurtzman
Starring: Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Russell Crowe
Distributed by: Universal Pictures
Rated: PG-13
Running time: 107 minutes

Our Score: 4 out of 5 stars

After seeing the first trailer to “The Mummy” starring Tom Cruise, I have to admit, I rolled my eyes a little and said “Oh boy” and I wasn’t sold on a female mummy plays by Sofia Boutella. So going into the movie, my expectations were kinda low but I was hoping to really dig it. Let me tell you from the moment this movie started I was HOOKED, till the moment it ended! I loved it. I thought that it was a perfect start to Universal’s new planned “Dark Universe”, which will feature all the classic monsters. I love the old monster films and they are just begging for an actually good big screen revival. “The Mummy” is a non-stop action packed, scary as hell must see Summer flick! Do not miss this film!

Official Premise: Nick Morton (Cruise) is a soldier of fortune who plunders ancient sites for timeless artifacts and sells them to the highest bidder. When Nick and his partner come under attack in the Middle East, the ensuing battle accidentally unearths Ahmanet (Boutella), a betrayed Egyptian princess who was entombed under the desert for thousands of years. With her powers constantly evolving, Morton must now stop the resurrected monster as she embarks on a furious rampage through the streets of London.

From the trailers, I wasn’t sure if this movie was going to be more action than horror but let me tell you it packed some great scares and was creepy as hell. I was honestly shocked cause it was freaking scary in parts…yet still packed some amazing action scenes. I am sure that till film will be compared to “The Mummy” film series with Brendan Fraser but it is completely different. That series was more like an Indiana Jones copy. This series feels much darker and surprisingly more fun as well.

Big surprises in the cast were Jake Johnson (known better as Nick Miller from TV’s “New Girl” and “Jurassic World”). He steals the show and gives the film a real ode to “An American Werewolf in London”, which I dug a lot! Great addition. Also Russell Crowe, yet again, surprised us all showing up as Dr. Henry Jekyll, which adds so much to the film and plans for future development. He nails the role perfectly and I can’t wait to see more of him in future films in this new “Dark Universe”.

I am sure “real critics” are going to tear this apart but if you are a true genre fan, this is a fantastic kick off to this new shared universe that Universal is creating and real fun/scary film to enjoy this Summer. It also delivered a great lead-in/back story that adds some great mythology to the film as well…and the best part about this film is that the trailer doesn’t give it all away like in other recent films this Summer (talking about you “Alien: Covenant”). So be sure to head to the theaters and have a blast with this one and let’s ensure that Universal has the opportunity to continue their “Dark Universe” but I am dying to see what they come up with next for “Bride of Frankenstein” in 2019.

Blu-ray Review “Aftermath (2017)”

Actors: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hannah Ware, Kevin Zegers, Scoot McNairy, Mariana Klaveno
Directors: Elliott Lester
Rated: R
Studio: LIONSGATE
Release Date: June 6, 2017
Run Time: 94 minutes

Film: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Blu-ray: 3.5 out 5 stars
Extras: 2 out of 5 stars

I know everyone has been shitty on Schwarzenegger’s films recently but he is really stepping out of his comfort zone with his last two films “Maggie” and now “Aftermath”. They are little indie films that surprisingly deliver solid performances from the Terminator. His glory days may well be gone with starring in huge blockbusters but solid films like this should get him more credit than they have. I say Kudos to him and I hope he does more films like this. Also my boy, Scoot McNairy, deserves a big chance finally. He nails this role (and every other he does as well). He is an amazing actor and deserves a big shot.

Official Premise: Roman’s (Schwarzenegger) life changes forever when he loses his wife and daughter in a plane crash. He attempts to move on from the tragedy but soon finds that he cannot face life without confronting Jake (Scoot McNairy), the air traffic controller responsible for the accident.

Lionsgate delivered “Aftermath” in a combo pack with a Blu-ray disc and a digital copy as well. The 1080p transfer works for the scope of the film, nothing flashy or big here but I like the way it was shot. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track also does a good job of building up the suspense throughout. The special features are light and nothing major here. There is an audio commentary with Director Elliott Lester and Producer Eric Watson as well as interviews with Director Elliott Lester and Director of Photography Pieter Vermeer included further discussing the film.

DVD Review “Beaches (2017)”

Starring: Nia Long, Idina Menzel
Studio Lifetime
MPAA rating: PG-13
Running Time: 87 minutes

Our Score: 2.5 out of 5 stars

I’ve seen the original Bette Midler (Actor), Barbara Hershey classic film “Beaches”, not a huge fan but I am familiar for sure. This is not a terrible remake. Unnecsary but definitely not terrible. It does scream TV movie though but it is a Lifetime movie so its sort of ok. If you like the cast and can deal with it being a remake, you might enjoy it also.

Official Premise: In this contemporary remake, Beaches follows the serendipitous meeting of two young girls on the Venice Boardwalk, who, though worlds apart in lifestyle, embark on unexpected and lifelong friendship.

This update to the 1988 film does include solid performances of the iconic songs from the original movie such as “Wind Beneath My Wings” and “The Glory of Love” from Idinal Menzel as well as her new original song, “Last Time”. This film is a Walmart only title. So if you want it that’s the only please to get it. No digital copy or special features are included on this DVD.

Blu-ray Review for 2017 Oscar Best Picture Winner “Moonlight”

Actors: Naomie Harris, Trevante Rhodes, Janelle Monae, Mahershala Ali
Directors: Barry Jenkins
Rated: R
Studio: Lionsgate
Release Date: February 28, 2017
Run Time: 111 minutes

Film: 3 out of 5 stars
Blu-ray: 4 out of 5 stars
Extras: 3 out of 5 stars

First of all let’s start with a BIG congrats to “Moonlight” for winning Best Picture during the 2017 Oscars and also to Mahershala Ali for winning Best Supporting Actor, in which he deserves for another impressive performance. Speaking of the Oscars I came across this blog post from enhanced bets that looks at the premier league Oscars, an interesting twist on what is the biggest award ceremony of the year.  This wasn’t a film that I originally rushed out to see and it features some great acting. Personally not my cup of tea and definitely not the best picture of 2016, but worth checking out for the performances.

Official Premise: A timeless story of human connection and self-discovery, Moonlight chronicles the life of a young black man from childhood to adulthood as he struggles to find his place in the world while growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami. Anchored by extraordinary performances from a tremendous ensemble cast, Moonlight is profoundly moving portrayal of the moments, people, and unknowable forces that shape our lives and make us who we are.

The Blu-ray looks fantastic. I really love the way that this film was shot. The 1080p transfer is presented with a 2.38:1 aspect ratio. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 is also very effective with the film’s score. The special features are decent and worth checking out if you enjoyed the movie. There is an audio commentary with the film’s director Barry Jenkins. I enjoyed this during a second viewing to get some great insight. There are also three featurettes on the production. The first is “Ensemble of Emotion: The Making of Moonlight”, next is “Poetry Through Collaboration: The Music of Moonlight” and last is
“Cruel Beauty: Filming in Miami”. Overall pretty solid release!

Couples Most Likely to Split in 2017

Last year one of Hollywood’s most glamorous super couples, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (Brangelina), rocked the world by announcing they had decided to split after twelve years together; which sent several adoring fans into meltdown. Accompanied by the controversial divorce of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard following a mere two-year marriage and the near-miss with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, 2016 certainly left us uncertain about the sanctity of marriage.

Realistically, it is not unusual for celebrity couples to break up. With many obstacles to face, such as   lengthy separations while working on set or performing, the constant media attention and of course, a life-long battle against their own egotism; it seems as though our favorite high profiled couples are practically doomed from the start. While we’re usually rooting for a couple to make it, there are times when we can already predict that it probably won’t work out. With this in mind, here are the odds of the couples most likely to split in 2017:

David Beckham & Victoria Beckham – 5/1 Odds:

Dubbed as “Posh and Becks”, former footballer David Beckham and Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham married in 1999 after a two-year relationship, with their wedding reception costing an estimated £500,000 and have remained one of Hollywood’s most highly followed relationships since. The couple have four children together: sons Brooklyn Joseph Beckham, Romeo James Beckham, Cruz David Beckham and daughter Harper Seven Beckham. Labelled Britain’s most famous celebrity couple, The Beckham family have made millions portraying their relationship as the perfect marriage.

However, previous revelations about the couple from their former nanny, claimed David Beckham wanted ‘to split’ from the marriage, and that Victoria was in tears over rumors of his affairs with other women. Allegations of steamy affairs with his former personal assistant Rebecca Loos, model Sarah Marbeck and the couple’s beautician Danielle Heath have also been revealed against the former England captain, although he still maintains his innocence. Could 2017 feature the final nail in the coffin for the couple?

Khloe Kardashian & Tristian Thompson – 2/1 Odds:

Although they only started dating in October 2016, the predictions of reality TV star Khloe Kardashian and basketball player Tristian Thompson splitting up are seemingly high already. Considering Thompson’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, gave birth to his first son in December, could the new arrival drive a wedge between the couple?

Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis -19/1 Odds:

Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis have some of the highest betting odds; meaning although surprising, they have clearly been doubted enough to feature on the list. The couple’s seemingly perfect love story began in 2012, when Kunis began dating her former That ’70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher, who she became engaged to by February 2014 and married in July 2015. During their relationship, the acting duo have had two children together – daughter Wyatt Isabelle (born October 2014) and son Dimitri Portwood Kutcher (born November 2016).

Despite their seemingly perfect relationship, in October 2014, Kutcher was accused of cheating on Kunis during the early days of their relationship with make-up artist Linn Massinger, who allegedly possessed pictures which appeared to show her and Kutcher cuddling in bed together. Although the claimed affair was never confirmed, perhaps Kutcher could be tempted elsewhere?

Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo – 2/1 Odds:

Labelled as People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’, Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine and Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo began dating back in May 2012 and were eventually married in July 2014. Since then, Prinsloo has recently given birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter, in September 2016.

Sadly, rumors have hinted that Levine and Prinsloo are facing a lot of troubles in their marriage, which could lead to divorce. Sources have claimed that the iconic singer and the modelling beauty have been consistently fighting over several differences, with further reports suggesting that Levine hooked up with Miley Cyrus during their time on The Voice. Will the rumors be confirmed as the truth?

Jimmy Fallon & Nancy Juvonen – 3/1 Odds:

After meeting on the set of Fever Pitch, comedian Jimmy Fallon and film producer Nancy Juvonen began dating in May 2007 after Drew Barrymore invited Fallon to a birthday party, which she threw for Juvonen. A few months later, Fallon proposed to Juvonen in August 2007 and the pair married four months later. They have two daughters – Winnie Rose, born in 2013, and Frances Cole, born in 2014.

Despite being married for almost a decade, the couple have been accused of nearly breaking up several times in the past few years; with the rumors beginning in 2015 when Fallon was allegedly suffering from a drinking problem. Will they make it to their tenth wedding anniversary?

Upcoming Trends on Mobile Casino in 2017

Mobile technology has immensely grown in the recent years. Every year we have seen mobile technology getting better and better. The mobile casino industry is going hand in hand with the mobile companies and there would be some outstanding trends likely to come in the mobile casino segment.

Mobile gaming will surely exceed desktop gaming very soon thanks to the accessibility and convenience of mobile devices. With the internet now more accessible than ever, the mobile industry is booming. In 2016, one of the major market changes was the addition of mobile platforms to existing online casinos catering for players on the move. This concept has only grown in 2017, with almost all of the top online casinos boasting a mobile platform, while some are in the process of doing so or have plans for the near future. Mobile gaming is, by far, the most lucrative advancement in online gaming, and while it may not be as much of a trend as a way forward, many online casinos have realized its value and applied it to their products. Mobile gaming is still a growing technology, and you can expect different experiences depending on your chosen casino games on your mobile phone. That being said, with technology growing at a rapid rate, all players can expect smooth and seamless mobile gaming from almost every online casino in no time.

Log in From Your Mobile Browsers Using the Desktop Login Details

With the invention of latest technology, the online casinos are also seeing a change in their trends. A player now can log into the mobile browsers by using the same login details used during registration on a desktop.

This hassle free option avoids the process of re-registering and then adding all the bank account details. You can skip the registration process on your mobiles and straightaway login into your casino account.

Android or Apple Mobile Casino Apps

As the mobile industry is growing, every day many updates keep coming in the Smartphone segment. Each time a new update comes, it surpasses the previous version. Many casinos have exclusive poker and slot games available as apps on Android and iOS stores. There are still many games that are exclusively available only on the casino’s online websites while some casinos have launched their mobile apps.

Inclusion of More Casino and Slot Games That Are Compatible with Mobile Devices

A lot many casino and slot games are introduced to cater to the needs of the mobile users. There are many games created only for the Android and iPhone mobile spaces. This means that there are slot and casino games slowly becoming easily accessible from your mobile browsers.

There are two separate lobbies for desktops and mobiles. The games differ from each other the games offered at the online desktops may or may not be available on the mobile platforms. The best part of the online casinos is that once you have registered on a desktop you can straightaway access the games on a mobile device.

Faster Withdrawals and Deposits

Every casino player plays with the intention of winning the money and getting entertainment. In such a case, the player needs to have faster access to deposits and withdrawals while using mobile devices. There are many payment techniques such as Skrill, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and many others, which ensure faster banking transactions are carried out at the convenience of your mobile phones.

No Need of Software Download- Instant Play

The online casinos have designed something called as instant games. These games include online slots, poker, blackjack, roulette and baccarat. These games do not require any software to download. Once you are a registered player you are good to go. Just select your favourite table or slot game and simply start the action.

Final Thoughts

The invasion of the mobile technology has tremendously affected the online mobile casinos. There are many slot games and casino games that are compatible with Windows, Android, Blackberry or iPhone mobile devices. Some of the renowned online casinos give magnificent welcome bonus offers on joining their casinos.

Las Vegas’ Concert Line-Up for Spring 2017 is a Hot One!

Las Vegas has structured itself as one of the hottest places to see a concert. Like everything with Vegas they always go big! When you visit Vegas these days, you know not only need to gamble but also catch a show as well. Las Vegas also has numerous resident performers, some permanent, with some of the biggest names in the business right on the Strip. Some of this years headliners include Reba McEntire with Brooks and Dunn, Britney Spears, Santana, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Elton John and many more.

Reba McEntire with Brooks and Dunn are in town on Feb 22-25th and also Mar 1-4th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Britney Spears on Mar 22-31st at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Santana is performing May 17-27th at the House of Blues. Celine Dion is also at the The Colosseum on Apr 4-22nd. Jennifer Lopez will also be in town at The Axis on Feb 10-25th and also May 24-31st. Last but definitely not least Elton John just started one of his two sets of dates Feb 7-20th and Apr 25-May 5th at The Colosseum.

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace was first opened in 2003 and has been named “Best of Las Vegas” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. This has always been one of my favorite places to see a show! Everyone from Cher to Rod Stewart to Bette Milder and Mariah Carey has been here. Elton John has had two shows over the years, “The Red Piano Tour” and “The Million Dollar Piano”, since he started headlining in Vegas back in 2004. The prize goes to Celine Dion who started in 2003 with her show “A New Day”, which ran till 2007. Her current show “Celine” which started in 2011 is one not to be missed for sure, whether you are a fan of her or not. Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn’s “Together In Vegas” is one of Vegas’ newest acting starting back in 2015 and whether you are a country fan of not, this show is a ton of fun!

So whether you are aiming to hit the black jack table or recovering from a wild night out playing at online casino UK, the need to catch a show has become a must do! These venues are outstanding and the sound presentations are unlike any other venue that I have been to. Whether you are into Rock, Alternative, Metal, R&B, Country this Spring there is no shortage of outstanding bands and singers on tour.

Vegas is one hell of a growing market as well. I have visited for nearly two decades now and I remember it back in the 90’s and then when you visit today, the whole city has evolved. I have a feeling that it will continue to evolve as well. So whether you prefer to play the slots on the hotel floor or on your computer, Vegas is going to be the place to visit and get all the coolest concerts and plenty of new changes over the years!

Video Games Development For 2017

Are you someone who gets excited about new games that are introduced for a gaming console or for a mobile device? Many types of games are introduced each year in hopes of being the next big hit. Most games are often based on a theme or genre depending on what is is. This is the reason there are games based on movies, comic characters, and many others. In fact, video games development for 2017 could offer a few titles that may be unexpected.

Red Flush Online Casino is a great place to go to find many types of fun and exciting video slots. Why not try new online slots machines here today?

One thing to keep in mind about the development of new video games is that the process is typically a marathon and not a sprint. This is the reason for delays that often occur or why a proposed title will be changed more than once before the final product is released. However, this does not mean fans are not looking forward to new games being released this year.

Resident Evil 7 – Biohazard

The Resident Evil franchise has been popular for many years and every new game offers the chance to see something new. Horror games are becoming more popular and means games that were not a top hit can be reinvented for a new audience. Games that are updated for changing times often have a surge in popularity when updated with new foes and tough puzzles to solve.

Mass Effect – Andromeda

This is the a new game in this series that takes place after the third game in a trilogy. The popularity of the original three games led to the decision to release an updated game in 2017. Decision making is the major part of this game and newest game will have all new choices to make. Will you be ready for the challenges you may face?

Prey

This game may appear like a sequel to a game released back in 2006, but this is not the case. The game has players stranded on a space station that is being overrun by aliens. If you are into first shooter style games, then this one should be an exciting one to play. The only problem is finding a weapon available to use to defend yourself.

Tacoma

Fans of spooky games will enjoy this new game slated for release in 2017. Players will be exploring a space station where a crew has seemingly disappeared. This game is a sequel to a 2013 release that was about a young woman in a home where everyone was away for the night. Finding out what happened is likely to be a terrific and maybe a worrying experience.

Red Dead Redemption 2

This is the newest release from the same developers who made Grand Theft Auto. The game offers you a western feel as there are beautiful landscapes with a story of a criminal who is trying to atone for his past deeds. Keep in eye out as this game could end up being the most anticipated game of 2017.
