Dive into the World of Video Game-Themed Slot Games!

There are more slot games than anything else in the casino world. Video game-themed slots have had a massive influence on popular culture. Today, people can find many pokies in a leading video game franchise. It’s one way for betting providers to attract younger fans, especially millennials.

Because of this, it shouldn’t be a surprise if a casino begins to look like a parlor in the coming years. Several video slot games come with storylines ranging from movies, TV shows, sports, etc. The video game theme has been dominating the game catalogs on most platforms. They are available worldwide, aiming to offer a different twist to internet gambling.

The Growth of Slot Machines with Video Game Themes

Although the combination of video games and slot machines may seem strange initially, it is a logical evolution brought about by the expansion and innovation of the gaming industry. For over a century, slot machines, with their rotating reels and diverse symbols, have been a fixture of casinos.

But as the gaming business grew and more sophisticated technology was developed, it became evident that fusing slot machine components with video game elements may be a profitable combination. Slot machines with video game themes are the result of this convergence. They create slot games based on well-known titles, characters, and themes.

Why Create Video Game-Themed Slot Games?

There are several reasons behind the creation of video game-themed slot games:

Nostalgia

Nostalgia is a powerful force in entertainment. Many players grew up with iconic video games and developed strong emotional connections. These games let players relive those cherished gaming experiences and enjoy a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Broad Appeal

Video game-themed slots cater to a broad audience. They attract both traditional casino-goers and a younger, tech-savvy generation that has grown up with video games. The appeal extends to dedicated gamers and casual players who might not frequent traditional casinos.

Licensing Opportunities

Game developers and casino operators see the potential for collaboration. Licensing video game properties for slot games benefit both industries by expanding their reach and introducing new audiences to their products.

Immersion

Video game-themed slots provide a level of immersion that traditional slots might not offer. These games often feature stunning graphics, familiar characters, and thematic soundtracks that create an engaging and immersive experience.

How Video Game-Themed Slot Games Work

Video game-themed slot games function similarly to traditional slots. They feature reels and symbols that players must match to win prizes. However, what sets them apart is the incorporation of video game elements and themes.

The symbols on the reels are often inspired by the video game’s characters, items, or themes. Players must match these symbols in specific combinations to trigger wins. Many video game-themed online slots include bonus rounds or mini-games directly inspired by the video game. These rounds often involve gameplay mechanics or themes from the original game.

Video game-themed slot games function similarly to traditional slots, featuring reels and symbols that players must match to win prizes. However, they stand out through the incorporation of video game elements, often reflecting familiar characters and storylines.

Some video game-themed slots incorporate a storyline that follows the narrative of the original game. As players progress through the game, they may experience key plot points or face off against memorable villains. These slots often include special features like wild symbols, free spins, and multipliers designed to enhance gameplay and increase the chances of winning.

Popular Video-Game Themed Slots

Resident Evil

With all the hype around the latest movie and the Resident Evil Village PR stunt in Somerset, UK, last year, some may forget the original Resi launched on the original PlayStation in 1996, and others won’t know it has its own coin-operated game. This has a similar survival horror style threatening feel to the original when a player finds Team Bravo after their chopper gets lost in the forest.

Tomb Raider

Lara Croft is, of course, the main character in this Tomb Raider slot machine. It comes with several elements from the original games and movies, including video clips as the spins are in action. It plays with 5 reels and 15 pay lines.

Gamblers can win up to 7,500 coins and get a reward, like a free spin (FS).

It has a simple gameplay and a unique bonus round once you get three scatter icons, with decent ideas, sounds, and animations. The Tomb Raider slot game is available on multiple platforms.

Street Fighter

The original SF came out in 1987 and is one of the most well-known arcade video games. It was massively influential with gamers in the ’90s and is one of the major fighting game franchises today. The slot game has stayed true to the video game by allowing players to select the character they want to use, whether Chun-Li, Ken, Guile, Ryu, or Sagat.

The slot plays with 25 pay lines, meaning you have many wagering options. Gamers can place wagers as little as 0.01 per line-up to $20. It suits all types of individuals, whether a high roller or on a budget, and features many symbols, including boxing gloves, two fighters, a skull necklace, and the common poker symbols.

Where Are Slot Games Legal?

The legal landscape for slot games varies from one jurisdiction to another. Many European countries have legalized and regulated online gambling, allowing players to enjoy video game-themed slot games without restrictions. Licensing and regulation ensure fair play and responsible gaming.

In North America, the legal status of online gambling varies widely. More than 37 US states have legalized online gambling and offer various video game-themed slots, while others have more restrictive regulations.

The legal status of online gambling in Asia varies from country to country. Some regions have embraced online casinos and video game-themed slots, while others strictly prohibit them.

Australia and New Zealand have established regulatory frameworks for online gambling, making video game-themed slots widely accessible to players in these regions.

It’s important for players to understand the legal regulations in their specific region before engaging in online gambling or playing video game-themed slot games.

Conclusion

Video game-themed slot games represent a captivating fusion of two popular forms of entertainment—video games and gambling. These games are created to cater to a wide audience, from nostalgic gamers to traditional casino-goers. The incorporation of video game elements, immersive graphics, and engaging sound design has made them a hit in the world of online casinos.

As the online casino industry continues to evolve, one can expect to see more innovative and exciting video game-themed slots emerge, further enriching the gaming experience. For players, it’s an opportunity to relive the magic of their favorite video games while trying their luck to win real money. Video game-themed slot games truly offer the best of both worlds—entertainment and the excitement of winning.

The “Boldly Be” campaign takes its inspiration from “Star Trek’s” ethos of IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations), the basis of Vulcan philosophy that the vast variables create truth, beauty, and strength.

The campaign kicked off on October 12th at the start of New York Comic Con with the release of an original Kid Cudi song inspired by “Star Trek” titled “Heaven’s Galaxy.” Fans can also visit the Star Trek x Kid Cudi booth that will showcase the capsule collection and a first look at the Fortnite gaming experience at NYCC on the Javits show floor from October 12 – October 15, booth 2653.

“Heavens Galaxy” was written by Cudi, produced by longtime collaborator Dot Da Genius and inspired by Cudi’s own fandom of Star Trek. It is available now on all streaming platforms.

Further celebrating the partnership, the Kid Cudi x “Star Trek” capsule collection debuted this week at New York Comic Con including tees, crewnecks, hoodies, a custom button-up t-shirt and a colorful leather varsity jacket with robust chenille and embroidery details. The collection will have a preorder window exclusively for attendees at NYCC, followed by the global release on shop.kidcudi.com on October 16.

Fans can also join “Star Trek,” Kid Cudi, and Fortnite as they embark on an out-of-this-world music and gaming collaboration like nothing this Galaxy has seen before! Star Trek x Kid Cudi: Mirror Mayhem brings Kid Cudi into the worlds of both “Star Trek” and Fortnite to perform his brand-new “Star Trek”-themed music collaboration “Heaven’s Galaxy” as well as never before heard songs from his new album INSANO. Nintendo Switch Review “Justice League: Cosmic Chaos”

Justice League: Cosmic Chaos” is the latest game from Outright Games in collaboration with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Released on March 10th, this all-new open world action adventure game is made for Justice League fans of all ages. In the game you can play as one of four characters; Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman or Cyborg. You can play solo in single player mode or team up with 2-player co-op mode. The game is available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox X|S and Steam. So you have plenty of options as you battle Mr. Mxyzptlk, the trickster from the 5th Dimension. Throughout the action-packed missions, you must defeat hordes of enemies using each hero’s unique abilities to restore peace. I like that you are able to switch between each character and how each character has their own powers that are needed throughout the game.

From Superman’s Heat Vision and Super Breath to Wonder Woman’s Truth’s Pull and Batman’s exploding Batarangs there is plenty of fun to be had as you aim to restore peace across Happy Harbor. The gameplay is fun and filled with exciting puzzles to complete and outfits with special upgrades to unlock and customize. Throughout the game you also interact with other Justice League members Green Lantern, The Flash and Aquaman who make fun cameos. As you search for The Artefacts of Justice, which can be found by fighting baddies and completing quests. There is plenty of content with 30 powerful attack and defense items to be found including Green Arrow’s Bow and Raven’s Cloak. There are even fun side missions that allow you to search Happy Harbor for clues that lead you to villains, bounties, and even secret locations.

The open world aspect of the game really makes this game fun for all ages. There is tons fun characters including one of the first villains that the Justice League fought against together in The Brave and the Bold Issue #28 in 1960, Starro the Conqueror, the mind controlling alien. Lastly, for a limited time only, if you pick up a physical copy of DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos on the Nintendo Switch, it comes with an exclusive character keychain. I am excited to continue playing this game and exploring the world and collecting items. Definitely worth checking out for all fans of Justice League.

A Review of Online Slot Game Bigger Bass Bonanza

It’s not a secret that online slots are the most popular online casino games in the world. This is mostly because of the fact that many newbies and novices in the online casino industry will turn to online slots as the gateway game. However, even though many prospective online gamblers are flocking to various online slot games, it’s still an incredibly competitive space for developers and casino operators. That’s why it’s important for slot games to really set themselves apart from the competition. The online slot game industry is becoming increasingly oversaturated to the point that new players might not even know what games to start with. This is why it’s always worth noting whenever there are certain titles that just manage to stand out from the crowd.

Bigger Bass Bonanza is the official sequel to the big hit Big Bass Bonanza that was originally developed by online casino giant Reel Kingdom. The prequel Big Bass Bonanza was such a huge success for many avid online gamblers and grew to big and unexpected heights. It managed to do so without necessarily integrating a lot of unique features and gameplay dynamics that other games need in order to set themselves apart from the competition. Big Bass Bonanza was a game that had all of the basic elements of a slot game along with some very immersive graphics and immersive details. In fact, the game was so popular despite its relative simplicity, that many fans of the platform clamored for a follow-up title. Reel Kingdom delighted the hearts of these fans by coming out with Bigger Bass Bonanza towards the end of 2020.

One of the major changes that the sequel has is the extra row that’s been added to the game. Bigger Bass Bonanza now boasts of a 5-reel 4-row game panel with 12 fixed paylines. That alone has done a lot in terms of beefing up the gameplay for loyal fans of the original game. Aside from that, the game underwent some very dramatic cosmetic changes for its sequel while also maintaining a lot of the classic design elements that original fans of the game have grown to love. The background image no longer sports a deep-sea excursion that was present in the original game. Now, it shows a line of beautiful palm tree silhouettes nested against the backdrop of neon buildings. It’s very evocative of the 80s Miami Vice aesthetic.

For the backend modeling of the game, certain changes were undertaken as well. The default RTP of the sequel is the same with 96.71%. However, some major changes took place when it comes to volatility. The sequel’s volatility is now rated at 5 out of 5, a very high level when compared to its prequel which had a 4 out of 5 rating. The betting system has also been revamped in order to match the new payline structure. Bets top out at a maximum of £/€240 per spin.

Another big feature in the game are the scatter symbols that appear on all reels. During free spins, wild symbols that land at the same moment as money symbols will entitle the angler to collect all of their values. The money symbols add a layer of excitement to the game with their randomly assigned money values as well. Aside from that, there’s an exciting fish scatter that is worth 4,000 times the initial bet.

Lastly, wild symbols can be collected on a moving meter that’s located right above the reels. For every fourth wild symbol that is collected, a retrigger takes place and awards the player an additional ten free spins along with a multiplier for the wild money symbol collector. The added dynamics to this game should be welcome developments to fans of the original who were clamoring for more depth to the gameplay. These new gameplay elements ultimately justify the name Bigger Bass Bonanza as it offers all of the familiar charm and appeal of the original game while also building upon the foundation that it has already set. Bigger Bass Bonanza is on track to amass the same kind of success that its predecessor had by sticking to the same winning formula while adding more layers of interest and depth to the actual gameplay.

Nintendo Switch Game Review “Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl”

Our Score: 3.5 out of 5 stars

In what feels like a weird (yet delightful) mishmash of Super Smash Bros meets Nicktoons Unite comes Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl which is… pretty self explanatory, actually! For no narrative reason, all your favorite Nicktoons, both new and old, are pitted against each other for some good ol’ fighting. There’s really no build-up to these fights or trajectory of difficulty that I could gather while playing the game, but just a lot of fun to be had from having Spongebob smack Nigel Thornberry off a building. Sometimes simplicity truly goes a long way!

There isn’t a lot of variety when it comes to the fighting locations and the characters are limited to headliners such as Spongebob, Patrick Star, Aang, Reptar (my personal favorite character to play as) etc – but the game does a good job at utilizing each character as you play as them and giving them unique fighting moves that are specific to their characters. I can’t properly articulate how delightful it is to play as Reptar and shoot fireballs at a character like Danny Phantom or Catdog.

The game doesn’t try to do anything too visually impressive in terms of scope or even just character designs, but honestly, considering that the game is going for nothing more than a nostalgic, Nickelodeon arcade riff on Super Smash, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, etc. it makes sense to keep everything simplistic and not overextend the concept further than it has to go.

Even with that being said, and how I think the game is a whole lot of fun within the context of what it is – there is a certain ceiling for this game and it isn’t super high by design. Yes, it is really fun to play as these characters and see these wacky character meetups – but there isn’t much more under the surface to make you wanna pick up your Switch to play it again over something else. Once you’ve finished a majority of the fights, played as a majority of the characters, and unlocked some of the secret extras, it might just have you moving on to the next game instead of playing through for a second or third time.

It all depends on what you’re expecting from your brawl games. If you want nothing more than recognizable characters from your childhood to pit against each other, you’ll have a good time and it’ll be a fun addition to your collection. Just don’t expect anything much more than the general concept you’re being sold.

The secret of the popularity of themed online games

Entertainment has always been an important part of leading a balanced, fulfilling life. These days, it seems as though more people than ever before are turning toward themed online games when they have free time. Why is this? We talked to expert John Smith to find out.

According to him, there are a handful of reasons why online games, such as virtual slot machines, have become so popular. The rise of online casino canada is certainly a factor. Keep reading to find out more.

 Free versions and paid play

Each of the contributing factors we discuss here hold equal weight in the success of themed online games. However, the cost of entertainment is usually front and center of most people’s minds. It’s for good reasons considering that everything carries a price.

Most everything, anyway – but not necessarily online games. Virtual slot machines, for example, can exist in both paid and free versions. The paid versions give you the chance to win real money that can be withdrawn and spent.

Free versions are more accessible though. If you’ve spent your gambling budget already or simply wish to play for free, you can continue your entertainment. Most online games have free or demo versions available for endless play.

 Quick-hitting fun

How much uninterrupted free time do you have on your hands? We’re willing to bet that there’s not nearly as much as you’d like. The truth is we live in a “go, go, go!” society. Whether you work full time, go to school, or raise kids, there’s always something else to do.

This is why more people are branching out from TV shows and movies. While they’re also enjoyable, not everyone can carve out one or two hours at a time to thoroughly enjoy themselves. You can pause, but it’s easy to lose track of where you are.

On the other hand, online games are purposefully simple and quick. You can get started playing slots almost immediately – just a quick look over the rules will do. Unlike console games, there isn’t a steep learning curve.

You also don’t have to commit nearly as much time at once. If you want to play a hand of poker or a game of blackjack, you just need a few minutes. On your lunch break, stuck in traffic, waiting for a phone call – entertainment is easy and quick.

 Endless themes available

Another big reason for the success of online games is the wide range of themes available. When it comes to online slots, there are literally thousands upon thousands of games out there. There’s guaranteed to be games available that suit your interests.

For example, say you’re really passionate about cooking or trying different foods. The number of food-themed slots available goes well into the upper hundreds. You can find themed games whether you’re interested in football, magic, gardening, or anything else.

 Trustworthy gaming sites

While there’s certainly room to praise software developers and providers for creating games, they’re not the only ones to thank. The popularity of themed online games wouldn’t be so high if it weren’t for trustworthy sites. Virtual casinos and similar platforms are booming.

This is coupled with a lot of helpful regulation. For example, the majority of countries require their citizens to gamble at licensed sites. This makes sure that everyone who is gaming can count on security and privacy.

There are also other avenues to developing trust and security. A lot of platforms support responsible gambling and link their members to helpful gambling addiction resources. There are also independent agencies evaluating sites for fair odds. This is particularly important for games who play with real money.

 Building on legacies

We’ve already mentioned the wide variety of themes just waiting to be discovered. Of course, it’s not just general themes like history or fantasy waiting to be played. In fact, many players turn to online games to extend their appreciation of franchises and legacies.

For example, there is an astounding number of slots related to popular movie series. A longstanding franchise that comes to mind is that of Rocky Balboa. Fans of Sylvester Stallone can log onto gaming sites and play the Rocky slot to continue their enjoyment.

Of course, this also lets you participate in your favorite worlds. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) began as a comic book series, which has since transitioned to TV shows and Movies. If you don’t want to sit down and re-watch those movies, you can play any of the dozens of MCU games available. Battle alongside Iron Man, Loki, The Incredible Hulk, Spiderman, and more.

 Access them wherever you are

Finally, it’s important to recognize the accessibility of playing themed online games. We mean this in a couple of different ways. First, we can think back to the ability to play for free or for money. You have to buy console games, streaming services, movie tickets, and cable – but this isn’t the case for themed online games.

If you’re short on money or short on time, that doesn’t exclude you from enjoyable rest times. More people are likely to have a smartphone or computer than they are to subscribe to various game and movie services. This brings us to our next point: mobile access.

At this point in time, many online gaming sites are realizing just how important mobile access is. There’s a high demand from consumers for mobile-compatible games that can be played from anywhere. Developers are responding in earnest. This has led to a boon of themed games that can be played wherever.

And when we say wherever, we mean it. Themed online games have a worldwide fanbase. The popularity of slots isn’t limited to one country or even one continent. It’s become a universal form of entertainment that’s at the tips of everyone’s fingertips.

 Fun that’s here to stay

There’s no doubt that themed online games continue to soar in popularity, and that trend won’t peter out anytime soon. The truth is that everyone is looking for a chance to turn off their overworked brains and just kick back. Nothing accommodates this the way that online games do.

They’re easy to learn, highly accessible, mobile-compatible, suit anyone’s taste, and come in free and paid versions. This can’t be said of any other type of game or entertainment. Not only is this a unique medium for fun, but it already leads the pack. Even as other forms of entertainment strive to catch up, they’re already years behind this incredible curve.

Star Wars: Squadrons offers the option to play in thrilling Virtual Reality on PS4 and PC, enabling players to feel every drift, evasion and maneuver as if they were in the cockpit. Mastering the skills and controls to become an ace pilot in the Star Wars universe is no easy feat and players looking to test their abilities and fully embrace the pilot fantasy can tune their difficulty in-game and take full control of their ship with hands on throttle-and-stick (HOTAS) support on PC, PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One.

“As a lifelong Star Wars fan, it’s been an incredible journey to bring the space combat experience to life in a way that is true to the legacy of the franchise,” said Ian Frazier, Creative Director, Motive Studios. “It all starts in the cockpit, the center of the action. We’ve worked hand-in-hand with Lucasfilm to hone in on the pilot’s perspective, and match the aesthetic from the films to create an authentic Star Wars gameplay experience that will transport fans into the pilot’s seat. We’re thrilled to bring this experience to players around the world, who can now join together in battles across the galaxy.”

Players can start their adventure in Star Wars:Squadrons and develop their piloting skills in a fulfilling single-player story showcasing daring pilots and rival commanders, flying for freedom with the New Republic or upholding the Galactic Empire’s vision of order. At the heart of the story is Project Starhawk — a starship project critical to the New Republic and one the Empire seeks to eliminate. Across multiple missions in a full campaign, players will report to two leaders: Lindon Javes, commander of the New Republic’s Vanguard Squadron, and Terisa Kerill, commander of the Galactic Empire’s Titan Squadron, whose deep-seated rivalry will fuel many of the encounters throughout the story.

Star Wars:Squadrons features intense 5v5 multiplayer combat in two key modes, Dogfight and Fleet Battles. In Dogfight, players will work with their squadron to execute the best tactics and destroy as many opponents as possible, while in Fleet Battles, players join their squadron in large scale, strategic back-and-forth battles to demolish opposing flagships. Squadrons will also give players the chance to bring their own personality to their starfighters with customization options that are earned solely through gameplay.

“We are always looking to bring new Star Wars stories and experiences to our fans,” said Douglas Reilly, Vice President, Lucasfilm Games. “Star Wars: Squadrons places players at the apex of one of the most uncertain times between the New Republic and Galactic Empire, where the scales of power could be tipped in either direction, and the fate of the galaxy is still unclear. We’re thrilled to give players the opportunity to play their Star Warspilot fantasy and experience this original story.”

As players earn their stripes and progress in the game, they will be able to collect components including Primary Weapons, Auxiliaries, Countermeasures, Hulls, along with Shields and Engines to fine tune the performance of their starfighters, which can be equipped with up to three passive components and four active components. Star Wars:Squadrons features eight iconic New Republic and Imperial starfighters from four starfighter classes: Fighters, Bombers, Interceptors, and Support ships, with a power management system that allows players to divert power to particular subsystems including engines, lasers or shields to outsmart opponents.

After launch players can expect additional online experiences including daily challenges to earn Glory, an in-game currency earned solely through playing, to unlock starfighter and pilot cosmetics, and Operations, which are 8-week cycles bringing their own set of cosmetic rewards to be earned along with new challenges. Players will also earn experience through play, and as they level up, will unlock Requisition points that can be used to unlock ship components to modify their playstyles.

Additionally, the official soundtrack for Star Wars: Squadrons from Walt Disney Records is now available at digital service providers including Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and more. Composed by the masterful Gordy Haab, and recorded with a world-renowned orchestra, the soundtrack includes 26 pieces from the game with a retro, stylized feel reminiscent of the iconic films that launched the Star Warsfranchise decades ago.

Star Wars: Squadrons is now available both digitally and in stores for $39.99 on Xbox One, PlayStation® 4 and PC via the EA Desktop App, Steam and the Epic Games Store, with Virtual Reality (VR) support on PlayStation® 4 and PC. The idea behind the game is not a new one, more and more movies, games, even online slots from famous casinos such as PA online casino, are inspired by Star Wars. EA Play* subscribers can enjoy up to 10 hours of playtime at launch, along with 10% off the purchase of the full game and immediate access to additional in-game perks including cosmetic items like the Interceptor Elegance Helmet and the Ashen Monarch Paint Job Set. Video Game Review: “Goosebumps Dead of Night”

“Goosebumps Dead of Night”

Playstation, Xbox One, Steam, Nintendo Switch

Cosmic Forces

Our Score 4 out of 5 stars

“Goosebumps Dead of Night” is a family-friendly way for Goosebumps fans of all ages to engage with some of their favorite R.L. Stine stories and characters while getting spooked a bit. Slappy has escaped from the pages of Goosebumps and reunited his family of Monsters. It’s up to you to stop Slappy’s dastardly plan to unleash the Goosebumps monsters into our world. Hide from monsters summoned from classic Goosebumps tales while exploring and solving puzzles in an effort to trap Slappy back into his book. Can you survive Slappy’s wrath and defeat him?

Straight from the pages and screen of your favorite Goosebumps books and films is the latest installment in the Goosebumps franchise. “Goosebumps Dead of Night” is a first person RPG that transports the player directly into the world of R.L. Stine. Players are immersed in dark and eerie locations while being tasked with having to collect missing book pages while warding off creepy clowns, werewolves, angry garden gnomes and the one and only Slappy! Visually the game looks great and captures the spirit of the series quite well. The foreboding soundtrack adds to the games appeal and certainly helps with several jump moments. It was a lot of fun going from level to level and seeing which story characters you were going to encounter next as each task brings the player closer and to closer to a final showdown with Slappy high up within the Tesla tower.

If you are new to first person RPG’s then it may take a little while to get used to the controls and how to navigate around the different levels but, once you have that all down the game provides is a lot of fun. Parents of younger players may want to check the game out first as there are some parts which can be a little frightening. Fans of the books will obviously want to check this out on one of the four available platforms (Playstation, Xbox One, Steam, Nintendo Switch) as “Goosebumps Dead of Night” is a great continuation of the Goosebumps franchise and one that both parents and youth will enjoy playing time and time again.

Nintendo Switch Review “Gigantosaurus: The Game”

Format: Nintendo Switch
Digital Publisher: Outright Games
Developer: Wild Sphere
Genre: Adventure and Racing
Players: 1-4 Player
Age Rating: E [Mild Cartoon Violence]

Developed by Wildsphere Studios, “Gigantosaurus: The Game” is an all new ROARsome adventure based on the world of the hugely popular CGI animated show “Gigantosaurus”. The series is currently airing its 1st season on Disney Junior worldwide. Season 2 and 3 have already been commissioned by The Walt Disney Company, France Télévisions and Super RTL. This show is really cute and easily entertains my seven year old daughter. It is one her favorite shows on Disney Junior.

“Gigantosaurus: The Game” allows families to join in the fun together, side by side, with 1-4 player action across prehistoric, vibrant worlds, epic racing levels, puzzles and challenges. You can explore and race across the vast, prehistoric world of Gigantosaurus in a one-of-a-kind dinosaur adventure. You are able to play as your favorite dinosaurs from the show –Rocky, Tiny, Mazu, and Bill on a daring quest to help Giganto and escape extinction. as they discover secrets, solve puzzles and save the day.

If you get tired of just exploring the world there is also “Dino Racing” where you can hop in your race kart for a super rally to reach the next adventure zone and find out who’s the fastest dinosaur. There is also a fun team up where you and up to 3 friends can control your favorite dino and create co-operative adventures together.

I found this game to extremely fun and very easy to use for the youngest kids to their adults, where it is fun for the whole family. The graphics are solid and the game play is very intuitive. I had a slight issue with the camera angles where I would have liked to use the second joystick to control the camera but it is not allowed. The cut scenes are cute as well and kids will love them since they get to have a mini-adventure with their favorite characters and their voices as well.

The Dino Racing mode is also very fun and reminds me of a kids version of Mario Kart. I can see my family playing this game for months to come as their is tons of content to explore throughout the world. There are also fun side missions in the main game where you have to collect seeds to plant trees, which is easily navigated by the helpful on-screen hints provided by the game, so there is no way to get lost in the big world.

Official Premise: Explore and race across the prehistoric world of Gigantosaurus. This Disney dino tale is part saving the world, part super race, and all giant fun! Rocky, Tiny, Mazuand Bill have scary problems –like the meteor that’s blocked up Giganto’s volcano! Only you and your dino friends can dare to solve puzzles and save the day –but you might need Giganto’s powers too! And the end of each story is the start of a super rally to the next zone. Will you be the most roarsome adventurer or the fastest racer?
