TERROR is so much more than 5 individuals making music. It is an energy, a force, a refuge and a voice for all the lost and unheard. This is an attempt to put to words that force expressing the band’s dreams, visions and hopes through the underground music medium of hardcore. This is the story of TERROR, the now legendary team of vets tirelessly sharing their ambitions live on stage over 300 times a year since their start in 2000. The band has no boundaries when playing a show. Performing a festival to thousands one day and following it up with a show in a squat the other is not an uncommon occurrence for this group. They simply want to perform for whoever is willing to listen. TERROR is welcoming to all crowds and groups, sharing the stage with such a diverse list of bands ranging from Hatebreed to Strung Out, Behemoth to the Bouncing Souls and Lamb of God to Trapped Under Ice. If someone wants to book it and the schedule is willing, they are there to inspire.

A decade’s worth of crafting their sound and presence has not worn down this outfit, as often happens to lessers of the genre, but rather it has merely honed their focus to a laser pinpoint. Through the maze of labels, lineups and album releases comes the current chapter in the series. “Keepers Of The Faith” is a worldwide call to the community, an attempt to hear back from the faithful on the front lines. A gathering in of allies, both diehards and new bloods. 13 new tracks produced by Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory (who’s also produced H2O) at Buzzbomb Studio in Orange County, CA and engineered by Paul Minor (Death By Stereo) and mixed by Matt Hyde (Slayer and Hatebreed).

ACE FREHLEY ANNOUNCES ORIGINS VOL. 2 DETAILS, EXTENDS ALBUM DEAL WITH ENTERTAINMENT ONE

“SPACE TRUCKIN’” OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO AND TRACK OUT NOW

PRE ORDERS AVAILABLE TODAY

Founding KISS guitarist and Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame member Ace Frehley announces the release of Origins Vol. 2, his highly-anticipated second collection of eleven rock ‘n’ roll covers, due out on September 18, 2020. Today, he also releases the first single, a flawless cover of Deep Purple’s 1972 hit, “Space Truckin'” available now on all streaming platforms, and as an official music video.

Recorded at The Creation Lab in Turlock, CA, Frehley recorded guitar, bass, and vocals on “Space Truckin'” with long-time studio drummer Matt Star and keyboard player Rob Sabino (Peter Frampton,  Simon & Garfunkel).

Ace offers,“‘Space Truckin’ was recorded years ago, and then I just re-recorded some parts and changed it a little. We never ended up putting it on a record, so it was just sitting around. It turned out very well. Rob Sabino is a very accomplished studio musician, and we actually grew up in the Bronx together, so we go way back.”

The official video for “Space Truckin’” was directed by eOne’s Ken Gullic (VP, Sales & Acquisitions, Music) and animated by Chris Fequiere, the same team behind the “Mission to Mars” music video from Frehley’s Spaceman album in 2018.

Frehley has also re-signed with eOne for more new releases, which extends his original deal signed in 2013. During his tenure, he has released three albums worth of new material, Origins Vol. 2 is the fourth. A new studio album is planned for 2021 with two additional releases to follow.

eOne’s Scott Givens, SVP, Rock & Metal, Music says, “I am thrilled to extend our partnership with Ace Frehley.  He is a core artist for eOne and I look forward to more continued success with him.”

eOne’s Ken Gullic, VP, Sales & Acquisitions, Music, offers, “We were warned, before our first meeting with Ace in 2014, that he’d never deliver an album or get on the plane for that very meeting. He showed up with an early version of Steve Miller’s “The Joker” in hand and then cranked out eleven brand new songs at lightning speed for his first top 10 solo album ever, ‘Space Invader,’ just in time for his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction as a KISS member in 2014. With nine albums into his vibrant solo career, one that clearly stands on its own, it’s time for Ace to be considered as a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducted solo performer too.

Frehley continues his reflections on a lifetime in music with this release of Origins Vol. 2. No stranger to cover versions throughout his musical history — having recorded, rebranded and repossessed such notable nuggets as “New York Groove,” “Do Ya” and “I Wanna Go Back” throughout his eight previous studio efforts — this new collection presents a thoughtful and exciting selection of songs that inspired and helped shape the legendary guitarist. That spirit of fun is carried through with exquisite execution, and guitar aficionados will enjoy Frehley’s fresh interpretations of these classic songs.

Origins Vol 2. features some extraordinary guests, including Robin Zander of Cheap Trick on Humble Pie’s “30 Days In The Hole,” and former KISS comrade Bruce Kulick on Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression.” Origins Vol.1 alumnus John5 also returns, playing on Cream’s “Politician,” and The Beatles’ “I’m Down.” Finally, the exquisite Lita Ford returns on vocals, this time on The Rolling Stones’ 1968 hit “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” Full track listing below.

Track List:
1. Good Times Bad Times (Led Zeppelin)
2. Never In My Life (Mountain)
3. Space Truckin’ (Deep Purple)
4. I’m Down (The Beatles)
5. Jumpin’ Jack Flash (The Rolling Stones)
6. Politician (Cream)
7. Lola (The Kinks)
8. 30 Days In The Hole (Humble Pie)
9. Manic Depression (The Jimi Hendrix Experience)
10. Kicks (Paul Revere & the Raiders)
11. We Gotta Get Out Of This Place (The Animals)
12. She (KISS) [Bonus Track]

Origins Vol. 2 will be the followup to 2016’s Origins Vol. 1, which hit #23 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, and was his second highest-charting solo album and his 4th Top 40 album.

Pre-orders are available today at www.acefrehleyorigins.com — which includes an exclusive 180g Opaque Gold Double LP variant (limited to 1000 copies + download card).

LAMB OF GOD Announces Online Events Following Release of New Self-Titled Album

First Album in Five Years, Lamb Of God, Out Now

Following the Friday release of their new self-titled album, LAMB OF GOD is connecting with fans through daily online activities today through Thursday, beginning with a “live quarantine video” today at 12 noon EDT/9 a.m. PDT on YouTube.

The video will feature three songs recorded by the band live from quarantine. Tune in to watch at https://lamb-of-god.lnk.to/QuarantineSessionVideo.

Later today, guitarist Willie Adler will join Zia Records for a Facebook Live Q&A. Visit https://facebook.com/events/609025426405589/ at 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT to watch.

An Instagram Live and Reddit AMA with vocalist Randy Blythe are planned for later in the week.

Stay tuned for more activity announcements and details!

In addition to the release of the album, on Friday LAMB OF GOD premiered a video for Lamb Of God’s fourth single, “Gears,” and lyric videos for five of the album’s tracks. Watch the lyric videos at https://lambofgod.lnk.to/LOG/youtube. The highly anticipated album from metal’s reigning kings immediately made waves with press radio and sales, debuting at number one on Overall, Rock and Metal iTunes charts, and number one on Spotify’s Kickass Metal playlist.

The fact that the band’s eighth studio effort would warrant ‘self-titled’ status is a testament to the band’s pride and satisfaction with these songs and this period in their creativity.

A true collaboration between all members of the band, LAMB OF GOD’s eighth studio album is an amalgam of each individual’s contributions, blended to create a singular style. Guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler fuel the album with a mountain of riffs, taking what Lamb of God are known for, and unbelievably, upping the ante to new levels. The rhythm section of John Campbell, looming large as a rhythmic shadow, and drummer Art Cruz, who makes his studio debut with LAMB OF GOD here on this record, underpin the proceedings with passion, sweat and expansive dynamics. Vocalist D. Randall Blythe is as angry, insightful, and informed as ever. Never one to shrink from facing the darker aspects of our nature head-on, Blythe delivers with no punches pulled, and as only he and Lamb of God can in 2020.

Audiences got a taste of the first new LAMB OF GOD music in nearly five years with “Checkmate” back in February, followed by “Memento Mori” and the most recent single, “New Colossal Hate.” All four songs will appear on Lamb Of God, the follow-up to VII: Sturm und Drang (2015). The album was once again produced by collaborator Josh Wilbur (GojiraKornMegadethTrivium), fueled by a mountain of riffs and looming rhythmic shadows. It is also the band’s first record with Cruz, who sat behind the kit with LAMB OF GOD in 2018 and became an official member the following year. In addition to Chuck Billy, the new album features a guest appearance from Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed). Blythe sounds more driven and insightful than ever on Lamb Of God, offering up the angriest and most comprehensive diatribes, addressing modern life in the current landscape, of his storied career thus far.

LAMB OF GOD propelled heavy metal into the new millennium two decades ago with the prophetically titled New American Gospel. They followed with 2003’s As the Palaces Burn, which made the Rolling Stone list of the Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. Ashes of the Wake (2004) was the first LAMB OF GOD album to be certified gold by the RIAA, followed by Sacrament (2006), which debuted in Billboard’s Top 10. Wrath (2009) earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hard Rock, Rock, and Tastemaker charts and was No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Those No. 1 positions were repeated with Resolution (2012). VII: Sturm und Drang (2015) debuted at No. 3 in North America and in the Top 5 in several countries. The single “512” from VII: Sturm und Drang received a Grammy nod for the “Best Metal Performance,” making it LAMB OF GOD’s fifth Grammy nomination.

In 2020, LAMB OF GOD is re-energized and unrelenting, ready to lay claim to the metal throne.

LAMB OF GOD is:

Mark Morton – Guitar

Behemoth announces new EP, ‘A Forest’; launches video for title track (featuring guest vocals by Shining’s Niklas Kvarforth)

On May 29th, Behemoth will release a new EP, A Forest, digitally worldwide (with additional physical copies available for purchase). For a preview of this 4-track collection, a video for the title track – a cover version of The Cure‘s classic “A Forest” – featuring guest vocals by Shining‘s Niklas Kvarforth, can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/wYZdaYobCSU

Front-man Nergal comments: “Covering music outside of metal is a challenge – covering legendary music is an even greater challenge…that is what drove us throughout this process. A lot of bands try it and a lot of bands fail; subjectively, I love the outcome and it ranks amongst my favourite Behemoth covers alongside Killing Joke‘s ‘Total Invasion’ and Siekiera‘s ‘Ludzie Wschodu’.
For the second time in 2020, I’ve recruited Niklas Kvarforth from Shining. Niklas’ psychotic appearance, attitude and vibe was a key element to our representation of the music and the only man who could give the performance the same depth as the original.
On top of this, the ‘A Forest‘ EP contains two brand-new Behemoth songs, ‘Shadows Ov Ea Cast Upon Golgotha’ and ‘Evoe’. The tracks act as a continuation on from ‘ILYAYD‘ – no more, no less. We hope this brings some respite for anyone struggling during these strange times on our planet! Stay safe, stay positive, Hail Satan!”

Behemoth released their latest full-length, I Loved You At Your Darkest, in 2018 to critical acclaim. I Loved You At Your Darkest marked a milestone in the history of the band, being not only their most successful album, but also an audiovisual masterpiece: from its detailed, blasphemous artwork, to the highly vicious and at the same time deeply emotional tracks, Behemoth once again played with fire – and ignited a wildfire burning the narrowminded bigotry of Christianity down to the ground.

FOZZY ANNOUNCES RESCHEDULED SAVE THE WORLD TOUR DATES

NEW ALBUM 2020 OUT THIS FALL 2020

Powerhouse rock ‘n’ roll band FOZZY announces rescheduled Save The World Tour starting July 10th in Columbus, OH and ending on September 5th in Orlando, FL. Due to the growing concerns of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and willingness to comply with CDC and government regulations, Fozzy realized it was necessary to reschedule their headline tour, originally scheduled from April 16th-May 9th, out of necessity to keep fans safe and healthy. With that said, Fozzy is excited to hit the road again this summer and will be joined by support from Through Fire, Royal Bliss, Black Satellite (8/20-8/30), and Zero Theorem (7/10-8/8). For more information on upcoming tour dates and to purchase tickets, visit the band’s website HERE

“In light of the pandemic that’s gripping the world’s attention, it’s time to make the right move and postpone the April/May leg of Save The World Tour for everyone’s safety and well being. However, we promise you, once the World is back on its axis and TRULY saved, Fozzy will be back to hold you in our loving arms and literally ROCK all your troubles away!! See everybody soon and in the meantime and between time, please stay healthy and safe. We will get through this together,” states Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho

Fozzy is gearing up to release their new full-length album 2020 this fall. The album features the band’s newest hit song “Nowhere To Run“, which recently hit Top 10 on the Rock Radio Chart. The song is the band’s third track to hit Top 10 on Rock Radio, following “Judas” and “Painless“. Listen to the anthem HERE and stay tuned for more details about the forthcoming release soon.

The band’s seventh LP, Judas, spurred hits like “Painless“, “Burn Me Out“, and title track, “Judas“, which spent five weeks at #1 on the ‘‘Big Uns Countdown’ on Sirius/XM’s Octane channel and peaked at #5 on the Active Rock Mediabase Chart. The song has over 34 million U.S. streams to date and the music video has over 36 million views to date. Watch the music video HERE

Since the beginning, Fozzy has been about hard work, dedication, and delivering great rock ‘n’ roll to their devoted fans worldwide; reminding them that music is all about invoking dirty, sweaty jubilation and doing it loudly! The band formed in 2000 to release their self-titled debut album. Throughout the years, Fozzy released six progressively popular records, including 2012’s Sin & Bones, featuring the hit single “Sandpaper“, which found the band reaching a level of legitimacy that drew a mass audience to drink in their trademark heavy melodic groove. More recently, the hard rockers released their seventh studio album, Judas, which includes their explosive title track. “Judas” catapulted up the Active Rock Radio Chart. Fozzy’s follow-up singles “Painless“, which peaked at #7 on the Active Rock Mediabase Chart, and “Burn Me Out“, which peaked at #17 on the Active Rock Mediabase Chart, solidified the band as Rock superstars.

Once Blood Prison takes over the reformatory, it is filled with bloodthirsty inmates waiting for victims to enter and try to make it through the facility alive.

The Ohio State Reformatory is centrally located, about an hour away from Cleveland, Columbus and Canton/Akron, and within a three-hour driving radius of Toledo, Dayton, Cincinnati, Youngstown, parts of West Virginia and Michigan, making it the perfect destination festival! Tent and RV camping packages are available on the grounds. Nearby hotel and ticket combo packages are also available.

General Weekend Tent Camping starts at $199 and includes 1,000 square feet of space for up to four people, access to the A/C Camping Lounge, optional breakfast, lunch and drinks available for purchase, dedicated shuttles to and from the festival, re-entry during the festival via the camping shuttles, live entertainment after the festival, access to Camping Hydration Station, and access to showers and restrooms. There are five different lots available within the grounds. General Weekend RV Camping starts at $299 and includes the same amenities as Tent Camping plus hookups for electric and water. Admission to the festival is not included in Weekend Camping Packages and must be purchased separately.

Hotel and ticket combination packages are also available. All tickets, including Field, VIP, Hotel Packages and Camping, may be purchased at www.inkcarceration.com/tickets.

In its second year, INKCARCERATION Festival nearly tripled the inaugural year’s attendance numbers, drawing 45,000 fans from nearly all 50 states, and worldwide as far as New Zealand. INKCARCERATION Festival has been awarded Mansfield’s prestigious Tourism Award of Excellence, and has been recognized by the United States House of Representatives, Ohio Senate, State of Ohio Representatives and Congressional Proclamation.

TESTAMENT Announces New Album Titans Of Creation & Release Music Video For “Night Of The Witch”

Pre-Order Available Here: https://nblast.de/TestamentTOC

The time has arrived for legendary bay area thrash metal giants TESTAMENT to unleash new thunder to the masses and reveal their thirteenth studio album, Titans Of Creation, which will be released on April 3 via Nuclear Blast.

Today, the band releases the lyric video for the first single, “Night Of The Witch” here: youtu.be/cF2hIrXq2ss

Chuck Billy comments, “It has been months since the final mixing of ‘Titans Of Creation’ and we are eager for fans to hear it. We feel that we put a lot into this record and at the end of the day it is a TESTAMENT record that stands on its own. We are very proud of ‘Titans Of Creation.’”

“’Night Of The Witch’ uses old school lyrics about witches chanting in the moonlight and casting spells. The beauty of this song is that I worked Eric’s vocals into the chorus. I wanted to incorporate him as he does Dragonlord and this song was a perfect match. It is a heavy song and a great way to introduce everyone to ‘Titans Of Creation.’”

Titans Of Creation was produced by Chuck Billy and Eric Peterson while Juan Urteaga of Trident Studios handled co-producing, recording and engineering. Andy Sneap was responsible for the mixing and mastering of the album. Eliran Kantor stepped up once again to create a new masterpiece of artwork for the cover of this release.

MYRKUR ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM FOLKESANGE COMING MARCH 20 ON RELAPSE RECORDS

REVEALS LEAD SINGLE “ELLA

Danish composer, vocalist and classically trained multi-instrumentalist, Myrkur (Amalie Bruun), journeys into the heart of Scandinavian culture. Through Bruun’s crystalline vocals, an array of traditional instruments and storytelling, ‘Folkesange’ offers listeners an immersive, emotional and transcendent experience that resonates in today’s turbulent times

Myrkur’s Amalie Bruun has always paved her own path and challenged underground preconceptions of heavy genres. Just after newfound motherhood, Bruun set out on a journey into the very heart of the Scandinavian culture that marked her own childhood with the release of her new album, Folkesange.

Due out March 20 via Relapse RecordsFolkesange relinquishes black metal for a refined yet far-reaching evocation of traditional folk, combining songs ancient and new to sublimely resonant effect.

Today, Myrkur has unveiled lead single and album opener, “Ella” which she explains is “the result of years of studying, playing and listening to traditional Nordic folk music. This is my version of a new folk-song, with roots planted in history and in the past. It is my ode to mankind and our connection with nature – a rite of passage as a woman and a rebirth-ritual in the sea.”

She continues, “Three years ago I decided to share a video where I performed an old Scandinavian folk-song on the nyckelharpa. After this I realized that I had a strong need to create an album within this universe and that other people also wished to hear this. So I started working on picking out what old songs to reinterpret as well as write my own version of this. Ella is this.”

Listen & Share: “Ella” on all digital platforms Here

On Myrkur‘s first two full-length studio albums (2015’s M and 2017’s Mareridt), she recast black metal in the most personal yet expansive of terms, their blending of Bruun‘s Danish folk roots with tempestuous internal struggles breathing new life into a subgenre whose followers can be rigidly possessive.

After the nightmare-induced visions that wrought themselves throughout 2017’s immensely acclaimed MareridtFolkesange offers an emotional sanctuary, a means to reconnect to something permanent and nature-aligned. It’s an awareness that’s become deeply bound to the album’s organic, regenerative spirit.

Storytelling, rites of passage, and the invocation of a continuity that passes through time and generation are all part of folk music’s tapestry, and Folkesange taps into all these currents in their most essential form. In part a purist’s approach to the genre, free from over-interpretation and fusion, the use of Kulning (an ancient Scandinavian herding call) and traditional instruments throughout, such as nyckelharpa, lyre and mandola offer adeeper, more tactile connection to their source, an unbroken line of communication back to the past.

But the album is no museum piece; it resonates in the here and now, aided by the spacious production of Heilung member and musical collaborator Christopher Juul. Cinematic yet intimate, Folkesange exists in a state of boundless reverie, bourne by string-led drones, cyclical, elegiac rhythms and Bruun‘s frictionless voice, all carrier signals for deep-rooted, ancestral memories, and associations felt on an elemental level.

An immersive experience in its own right, but also belonging to a wider, pagan folk-based renaissance that has attracted a devoted following worldwide, Folkesange answers a need that has become ever more pressing in turbulent times. A zeroing in on a resonance that is both intrinsic and enduring, it’s a rediscovery of personal grounding, and an experience that reaches beyond culture to remind us of a shared, deeply rooted inheritance. A tuning fork that binds the personal and the universal, Folkesange is a reminder that the most transcendent experiences are those closest to home.

Folkesange sees its release March 20, 2020 via Relapse. There will be several limited deluxe vinyl versions available.
