One piece – A classic animated film of the modern era

One Piece has quite dynamic content compared to the original story. Audiences who do not need to read stories can watch and understand the content of movies. Besides, the film also is the motivation for strangers to learn about this series film. All parts of the movie are about the journey to become the Pirate King of Monkey D. Luffy. Monkey D. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. Throughout the movie, Monkey D. Luffy and his friends are constantly searching for the mysterious seas which have the most large treasure in the world. The film has released 13 parts, each part is extremely loved by audience.

One piece Tube – Animated film with fresh and attractive content

Among the animated films produced based on manganese stories, One Piece can be said to be a rare success. The film is adapted from a story with the same name. This story is extremely famous and popular. Normally, animated films will not retain the essence of original story, the content will be changed to suit each situation more. However, One Piece is an exception. The details contained in the story are all beautifully presented in each episode.

One piece – You watched that you can never give up

Not only that, the One Piece animated film also appears quite a lot of new details added by the director. These details play a important role in making the film content more plentiful and well-directed by the director. So that the film content is the most suitable. Although some episodes like episode 8 and episode 9 have slightly bad content, Oda’s participation in later episodes has helped make the content of the film more and more progressive.

The image quality of the animated movie hit one piece

The unit responsible for producing the animated movie “One Piece” is Toei Animation. Since the first broadcast of the film on television, One piece has received a lot of support from fans. The film is usually broadcast on the spring holiday of Japanese students. There have been 13 episodes were on aired since 2000. Although each movie only last less than an hour and is broadcasted in parallel with other anime movies, these films are carefully produced, especially about image quality. According to anime experts, the One Piece animation has a higher image quality than the weekly shows on TV.

In some actionable scenes, clearly with the ability to shoot and post-production, the production team can create more beautiful and real scenes. However, the production team did not do well. The action scenes are not really eye-catching. Moreover, although the movie has fan service and the image is not too sensitive but cinemas often mark one piece as a movie for ages 16 and older. Therefore, this is extremely disadvantage for many young fans.

Voice quality of animated film one piece

One Piece is done by a lot of professional voice actors. For example, Vinsmoke Reiju was voiced by Michiko Neya. She is more than 50 years old and has participated in many other popular anime like Alchemist, Pokemon, Yugi Oh… Vinsmoke Ichiji was voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama. Vinsmoke Niji was voiced by 47-year-old Atsushi Miyauchi. The actor also played in Gundam, Ghost in the Shell, Yugi Oh.

There is no word that expresses the greatness of the voice actors

Most characters have been applied the most modern sound technologies by the production to edit and create each character’s voice in the most appealing and easy-to-listen way. There have been quite a number of units that have voiced the animated film but failed. The voice sound of the original One Piece version is the best, the classic version without any voice sound version can replace.

It can be said that One Piece is an indispensable film for the lives of young people. One piece brings us richness in extremely boring life. With image quality, amazing voice sound and content, One Piece always attracts viewers, the sequel of one piece will definitely make you feel satisfied. 13 episodes of One Piece have been on aired. Episodes 14 have been expected to be aired in the summer of 2019. This will definitely be a very special gift for all of us. Please wait and enjoy the One Piece to be released soon!

Bubble Shooter Classic – classic game with a modern twist

Bubble Shooter Classic is a fun bubble popping game, great for a player of any age, from a 3-year-old kid to a senior person who is still kicking it.

Developed by Ilyon, an Israel-based game studio with a great portfolio of over 40 titles and tens of millions of downloads, Bubble Shooter is one of their most popular bubble shooter games available on the Google’s Play Store.

Bubble Shooter Classic took the concept of the classic bubble shooter game and turned it into an engaging game with a modern UI that is played by over a million users worldwide.

Besides being totally addictive, it is both challenging and relaxing, as the best of this genre are.

The gameplay

Your task in the game is simple: Drag your finger to move the laser sight in the direction of the bubbles and match at least 3 bubbles of the same color to pop them and try to get 3 stars in each level. Of course, you also earn as many points as you can to share and boast with your friends. When you pop 7 bubbles in a row, the fireball will burn up bubbles on its way, drop 10 bubbles or more and the bomb will burst the surrounding bubbles.

At first, the game may seem overly simple. Don’t let this discourage you, though. Once you have mastered the basics, the bursting will go much faster and even more fun. As the levels get higher, they get increasingly difficult. You’ll find that forming large combos gets more challenging.

The game features special bubbles with different behavior.

A Diamond Bubble won’t pop, instead a player can drop it to burst it.

A Stone Bubble can be burst by the use of Fireballs and Bombs.

Chained bubbles are more resilient when together – you’ll need to break the chain before you can pop its bubbles.

And Slime Bubble has the tendency to slip and spread, try to think of ways you could use this to your advantage.

Oh, yes – you can also boost your gameplay with a variety of unlockable power-ups and boosters. But boosters won’t do the brain work for you – the game will make you use your gray matter!

Visual

The game is visually pleasant to the eye thanks to vivid colors, animations, a great deal of busting, and sparkling effects.

It features modern, professionally designed, high quality artwork.

Mechanics

The game’s mechanics are smooth and responsive with good tactile feedback. It’s fast-loading and levels are transitioning quite smoothly.

Hardcover: 208 pages
Publisher: Harper Design
Release Date: October 18, 2016

Our Score: 4 out of 5 stars

This seems to be the year of “Pan’s Labyrinth” getting a resurgence. The film is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary (can’t believe that it has been that long already). This film has been one of my favorites and one of the best from Guillermo Del Toro. When it comes to a visual eye, he is the man to deliver and this film is overloading with beauty and style. “Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth: Inside the Creation of a Modern Fairy Tale” gives us an exclusive look into the making of this wonderful modern marvel and does not disappoint. It also is stocked tight with a foreword by Guillermo Del Toro himself. I love his passion and it shows how much work and effort in each one of his films. This is a must owe book for any fan of “Pan’s Labyrinth”.

Official Premise: To celebrate the tenth anniversary of this acclaimed fantasy, Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinthprovides the definitive account of the film’s creation. Written in close collaboration with the director, this volume covers everything from del Toro’s initial musings, through to the film’s haunting creature designs, the hugely challenging shoot, and the overwhelming critical and fan reaction upon the its release.

The book dives deep into the production of this amazing movie with some beautiful concept art and rare set photos. If you are looking for the ultimate behind-the-scenes look into Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth then look no further than this book! It is not just pretty photos though this book also has interviews with the film stars Ivana Baquero, Sergi López, Maribel Verdu, and Doug Jones and also key players like producers Alfonso Cuarón and Bertha Navarro; and director of photography Guillermo Navarro. This film is a classic and this book represents it perfectly!

Event Review “The Rain Room” at The Museum of Modern Art

Rain Room
The Museum of Modern Art
May 12–July 28, 2013

The line stretches through the lot and down the sidewalk, and it’s moving at a snail’s pace. As the hours go by and tempers rise, people begin to question if this is all worth it.

And then you walk inside.

And directly into a dream.

The first thing you sense when you finally enter the darkened space, is the sound. It’s the sound of falling water, and as you turn the corner, you are met with an arresting sight: a darkened room, lit with only a spotlight, and a large block of rain falling from the ceiling. The guard nods at you, and you slowly approach it, your nose now picking up on the smell of water. You tentatively reach a hand into the falling droplets, expecting to be drenched in seconds, and instead feel…nothing. There’s a dry area surrounding your outstretched hand- a type of force field that is keeping it dry. As you make a slow wave, the dry area follows you. You take a deep breath and step fully into the room. Miraculously, no water touches you, and you start to feel a sense of joy and of play. You can control the rain!

Rain Room (2012) is rAndom International’s installation art piece currently on exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art as part of the MoMA PS1 Exhibition (EXPO 1: New York). It is, in the simplest of terms, a literal room of rain. Hundreds of gallons of water are cycled through the room per minute, and 3D tracking cameras line the space, sensing its occupants and their movements, and repel the water from releasing up above them. It is best to move at a moderate pace- too fast, and the sensors are unable to keep up, and you will get wet. rAndom International’s founders, Stuart Wood, Florian Ortkrass, and Hannes Koch, have been reticent in revealing the specifics of how it all works, allowing it to continue to be a fantasy and mystery to those who experience it.

Perhaps the best thing about Rain Room is the audience interaction component. Every person will experience the room in their own way and will become part of an unexpected show of immersive meteorology, so the room is always changing. It challenges participants to go against their ingrained responses while experientially engaging four senses at the same time. There’s a feeling of romance, delight, and contemplation at being able to literally control the water falling around you.

Rain Room is located in the lot space directly next to the MoMA and is included in the regular ticket price. It is open daily during normal museum hours. Entry is limited to only ten people at a time. The exhibit runs until July 28th.

DVD Review "Rocko's Modern Life: The Complete Series"

Actors: Tom Kenny, Carlos Alazraqui, Charles Adler
Directors: Joe Murray
Number of discs: 8
Rated: Unrated
Studio: Shout! Factory
DVD Release Date: February 26, 2013
Run Time: 1200 minutes

Series: 4 out of 5 stars
Extras: 3.5 out of 5 stars

I have to admit, I was a huge fan of “Rocko’s Modern Life” in the early/mid 90’s.  It went along well with Nickelodeon’s “Ren and Stimpy”, which I was also a big fan of.  It has been at least 15 years since I last saw “Rocko’s Modern Life” and it still holds up. This show has become a cult classic among fans since its original airing. There is really not many other show like this on television today, maybe besides “Adventure Time” or Regular Show”.  It is over-the-top, raunchy and very funny.  Sure maybe it is a packs a little bit of off-beat humor with some of the jokes but as an adult now, I am able to catch one to much more then when I was a kid.  Shout! Factory has been releasing the seasons individually over the years but this is the first time that the complete series is available to own on DVD.  It is well-worth the purchase if you are a fan of this show.

What more can you ask for here! This complete series comes with all four seasons of the show including 52 episodes! I am shocked to realize that there were only 52 episodes, I thought this show was on forever. This release also includes some fantastic original art by the show’s creator Joe Murray! The cover is a work of art, as is the inside insert, which is never usually given the time of day. You can tell that there was a lot of love that went into this release. Carlos Alazraqui, who was the voice of Rocko, Spunky and many more has since went on to notable roles like Deputy James Garcia in “Reno 911”. Tom Kenny who voiced Heffer Wolfe went on to voice, even to today, “Spongebob Squarepants”. The creator, Joel Murray, really has a certain vision for this show and maybe it was a little a head of its time but this show is a real hoot! Get it?! Joel also went on to work on similar looking shows with “Camp Lazlo” and “Frog in a Suit”.

This 8 disc set looks great for a show that is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The show aired from 1993-1996, so I am not sure why Shout! isn’t pushing the fact of the show’s anniversary. Either way, it has been a real pleasure revisiting this show after all these years and it does nothing short of entertaining. The episodes are presented in their original full screen presentation. I am not sure if Shout! Factory has done anything with these episodes but they look decent for a DVD release. 20 years has been kind to this show and it has never looks better. The colors are sharp and the audio track works well with the underscore and the Rocko screaming “SPUUUUUUNKY”.

This release from Shout! Factory comes with some very impressive special features specifically for this complete series. First up we have a “Wacky Kelly” Live 2012 with Joe Murray and the Cast. This extra is a riot and just shows that there are still so many fans of this great show out there still today. “Behind-The-Characters Shorts” is a fun look into the mind of our favorite characters from the show. Next up, there are some select scene commentary tracks throughout season three by the creator himself, Joe Murray. I highly recommend these! Lastly there is the original pilot version of “Trash-O-Madness” included on this release. If you are a fan of this series, you should be left very satisfied with this release. Heffer was right…it is a hoot!

NYCC 2012: Yakko’s Modern World?

Media Mikes was lucky enough to catch up with emmy-winning voice actor Rob Paulsen on the floor of NYCC this past Friday. Paulsen can currently be heard in Nickelodeon’s new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as Donatello alongside Sean Astin’s Raphael. However he was equally ready to talk about one of his most iconic roles, Yakko Warner, of “Animaniacs”.

Children of the 90s will remember the impressive and catchy “Yakko’s World” in which Paulsen sang the names of the nations of the world. As political lines have shifted since 1993 when the song first aired, Paulsen revealed that he and the writer are hoping to be back to get an updated version recorded:

“I don’t know if I’m recording it for sure, Randy Rogel who wrote Yakko’s World–and all the other cool stuff on Animaniacs, by and large–told me a couple weeks ago that he updated Yakko’s World to reflect the Soviet Union no longer being around and all the ‘-stans’. Uzebekistan, Kazahkstan, Tajikastan…so yea, apparently there is a new, updated version of Yakko’s World and I hope that we can record it one day and release it!”

Great news! Now, all together, “Uuuunited States, Canada, Mexico, Panama…
