ReedPop Shares Schedule for 2021 Events

To our community—

As I write this, I’m filled with hope and excitement for the year ahead. There’s much in the works at ReedPop that we’ll announce in the coming months, but today I’m bringing you an update on the return of our physical events and the first look at our plans to promote health and safety.

To give you a peek behind the curtain, events folks have to plan six to nine months down the road. We must put ourselves forward from where we are today into where we think we may be tomorrow, and continue making the next best decisions.

Today, I share what we’re planning with this assurance: ReedPop’s number one priority is the wellbeing of the people that come to our shows.

Right now, we see a path forward for safe, amazing events that are going to look a bit different than usual, so that’s where we’re heading. Keep in mind what we communicate is subject to change as state and local guidelines are adjusted. I encourage you to stay connected with us via our newsletters, social channels, and websites to keep on top of the latest information right up to the shows.

ICYMI, our schedule for 2021 is:

With the return of physical events comes so much we were missing this past year. Supporting small businesses and indie creators more directly, old friends reconnecting, the energy of a panel room when a cast first takes the stage…

I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but I almost miss the awkward camaraderie of the women’s restroom line. Almost

Speaking of lines, let’s talk capacity and a few other key safety measures we’ll be taking…

  1. We will be running all our shows with reduced capacity. With our new safety precautions in place, attendance and badges will be very limited so that we can ensure physical distancing. We’re working closely with each convention center to determine how many people are permitted in the building every day and at a given time.
  1.  We are requiring approved face coverings for all individuals attending our events, including our exhibitors and staff. They must be worn at all times within our venues. For more information, you can visit the FAQ pages on each of our show websites.
  1. Temperature screening upon entry will be required to enter our eventsAnyone with an elevated temperature will not be permitted to enter the event.
  1. We will have increased sanitization and cleaning with enforced physical distancing throughout the event.
  1. We have also adopted a firm no handshakes, no high-fives, no hugs policy. We’re all going to have to get very smooth and cool-looking at either the elbow bump or air high-fives. Please start practicing now.

I know there are a lot more questions than what I’ve shared here. You’re probably wondering what the heck a photo op may look like and how panel seating will work. We’ll be sharing more information in the months leading up to our shows, and we are committed to being as transparent as possible.

Our goal remains the same: bring together our fan communities to celebrate the best pop culture has to offer. Alongside all of our physical events, we’ll be running a virtual event companion through FindtheMetaverse.com. So whether or not you join us in person, you can attend each of our shows and have a pretty excellent time. Save the date for the next Metaverse event — June 7-13 — and follow our newly launched social media pages on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.

More announcements are coming soon with on-sale dates, guests, panels, and so much more. We promise it will be worth the wait.

Finally, thank you for your continued support in what has been a difficult time for our entire community. Thank you for your patience with us at every turn, and for your understanding as we continue to navigate the future of pop culture events together.

Higher, further, faster,

How to fit gaming into a busy schedule

We are all living increasingly busy lives and this can see us running around like headless chickens most of the time. The impact of this on life can be huge. It is often seen in how most people now have no time for their favorite hobbies or pastimes. For many people, playing video games or casino games online is something they love but rarely get a chance to do, as they are so busy. That is a real shame – as the ‘Goosebumps -Dead of Night’ review shows, games can be a great way to relax and have lots of fun.

The key, therefore, is to find ways to make time for gaming in your hectic schedule. But how can you do that?

Try mobile gaming

Mobile gaming is a great way to fit some playing time into your busy schedule. That is because it gives the chance to play games when you are free, even if only for a few minutes. Rather than missing out being able to game on your work break, break in family life or daily commute, mobile gaming gives you the tech to play when the opportunity arises. If you find that you do not have time to sit and play for long sessions, mobile games are the perfect answer.

As you can pick up and play via your smartphone or tablet quickly, you can make the most of those spare few minutes you might get in your busy schedule each day. A good tip to help make gaming even easier to fit in is using online gambling apps and mobile gaming apps. These sit on your mobile device and give a fast, easy way to access games to play when you get the chance. To make it easy to find the best apps to use, top independent review sites like NJ Online Casino Apps are a quick way to go about it.

Combine gaming and social time

One barrier that most people find when trying to fit gaming into their busy lives is having to spend time with family or friends. Visiting your parents or heading out to catch up with buddies can mean you have no time left to play games. To help get around this, why not combine the two? Online multi-player titles allow you to meet up virtually and chat, while enjoying a game together. You can fulfil your social responsibilities while also fitting some gaming time in. If you would rather keep it more personal, why not invite family or friends around to game with you at your house?

Set aside some time just for gaming

Another great tip is to simply put some gaming time into your weekly schedule – and stick to it! Just as you might plan to shop on a certain day and time, plan a gaming session in each week. Planning properly for it like this makes it much more likely that you will remember to do it. If you leave gaming to chance, you will usually find you never get around to it. Planning regular sessions also means you can truly focus on the time you spend playing and get the most enjoyment. This is because you know you are not meant to be doing something else instead. When it comes to it, effective time management tips for gaming are key.

Change up your career!

If you find that you simply struggle to squeeze gaming time into your current frantic lifestyle, why not consider a career change into gaming itself? For many people, the long hours we spend at work present a major barrier. By the time you get home, you have 1001 other household jobs to fit in or you are too tired to fire up your console or PC. If you make gaming your job though, you will be enjoying it all day and have no trouble fitting it in. The great news is that there are plenty of roles to consider, from game developer to game tester.

Fitting gaming in can be done

If you currently find it hard to get some time to game in your personal life, then it can start to depress you. Playing games is something many people love to do now and is a great way to unwind after a tough day. This is true whether it is online casino games, mobile games or video games. The good news though is that this can be rectified. As the above shows, there are some simple and effective ways to make more room for gaming in your life.

SLAY AT HOME Free Virtual Metal & Art Fest This Weekend, Full Line Up & Schedule Revealed!

Slay At Home, a first of its kind virtual metal music and art festival organized by Frank Godla of Metal Injection, is set to air this Friday and Saturday (May29th & 30th) beginning at 3PM EST. The event will fundraise in support of two great charity organizations; Musicares and Global Giving

NEW VIDEO TRAILER WITH LINE UP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6X-A1s6VrU)

The completely free event will be an artfully curated livestream show with exclusive never-before-seen performances from over 30 bands, cover song collaborations, commissioned music from artists that will debut at the fest, special guest appearances, art installations and much more!

The official schedule has now been released via the festival website, and is broken into hourly groups, with organizer Frank Godla explaining the set up:

“By keeping the set times between 5 and 15 minutes for each artist, it allows me to not only keep things moving, but mix it up in ways that conventional festivals simply can’t. Every single hour will contain big names and emerging artists right next to each other. I’m trying to look at the bright side of our current situation, and not only make this an entertaining way to see the artists you love flex their creativity in new ways, but hope this event acts as a place of discovery for every viewer out there. Finding a band or artist to fall in love with is the mark of a great festival to me, and it’s my honor to share the work of these amazing individuals I curated because I’m passionate about them. I’ve been in touch with all of them every step of the way, and some even managed to throw me a few surprises. I’m honored and humbled to have all of them part of this, they truly went above and beyond to showcase their craft for the Slay At Home fest, and I can’t wait for the world to see something really special come to life this weekend.”

The free livestream is scheduled for 3PM EST both days in an effort to raise funds for the MusiCares Covid-19 Relief Fund helping artists, crew and industry workers during financial crisis, as well as the Global Giving Coronavirus Relief Fund, an organization helping front line workers in need during the crisis.
