“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” has always been one of my favorite shows to watch with my daughter ever since she was born. Now that she is three years old, I am able to enjoy it even more. One thing she loves about this show is Minnie Mouse, she has always been her favorite. “Minnie’s Pet Salon” is the latest DVD release for this series and features her favorite character, so this is an instant winner.

Official Premise: Minnie’s sparkling new Pet Salon is open for business… and adventure! All your Clubhouse pals are bringing their animal friends to get spruced up for Pluto’s All-Star Pet Show. With so many pets to bathe, groom and train, Minnie needs help. Luckily, Mickey and the gang are there to lend a hand. But when three adorable little kittens go missing, it will take the right Mouseketools — and help from YOU — to find them in time for the big show.

There are five episodes includes with this DVD. The first is “Minnie’s Pet Salon” (of course), which features the gang getting ready for Pluto’s All-Star Pet Show. The second is “Daisy’s Pet Project, which has Daisy finding a pet for the Pet Parade. The third is “Pluto’s Puppy-Sitting Adventure” with Mickey puppy sitting for Clarabelle’s puppy, Bella. Fourth is “Donald’s Ducks”, which has Donald helping fellow little ducks in getting to the beach. The last one is “Pluto Lends a Paw” has the gang looking for Minnie’s cat Figaro.

Book Review “Disney Minnie: Minnie’s Winter Bow Show”

It is getting to be that time of the year! Fall is already here and we are entering the Holiday season. My two year old daughter loves nothing more than Minnie Mouse and especially Minnie’s Bowtique on Disney Junior. “Minnie’s Winter Bow Show” is the latest book in the series and is based on a movie event airing on Disney Junior this Winter (or on DVD November 4th). This is already going to be an instant classic in your house. The book is so incredible colorful and come stocked with 70 special sparkly stickers!

Official Premise: Minnie’s Winter Bow Show is quickly approaching-Minnie needs to make preparations, but she also needs to keep an eye on her two rambunctious nieces, Millie and Melody. One morning, the twins are playing in the glove balloon when it suddenly flies off with Minnie in tow! The balloon takes them on a wild winter wonderland adventure all the way to the Clubhouse North Pole! Will Minnie be able to make it back to her Bow-tique in time for her Winter Bow Show?

Book Reviews “Disney Minnie: Minnie’s Purse” & “Sofia the First: Sofia’s Purse”

What little girl doesn’t want to be like Minnie Mouse? Disney’s latest book will help accessorize that dream. “Minnie’s Purse” is a an adorable purse-shaped book! It will allow your kids to easily carry it anywhere they go. It is very glittery, which is a must for any girl 😉 If you like “Minnie’s Bow-Toons”, they you will enjoy this included. It includes some pull-down flaps and also two pages of stickers. The stickers is what sold the deal for my daughter.

“Sofia The First” is a relatively new kids show but already sealed her placed with any young girl. She is a true Disney Princess and just like Minnie, any girl would love to carry this book proud on their arm. My daughter already made it her point to tell me that she has a book for each arm. So she was running around the house with each book. Then after a few minutes we heard silence (which is always scary when you are a parent), we look on the couch and there she is reading the books. So these are great for any little girl. Plus like Minnie’s Purse, this also has two pages of stickers.

Book Review “Disney’s Minnie: Minnie’s Costume Contest”

If you are parents reading this, you know what it is like to have something that your kids love and being nervous what would happen if you would ever lose that one item. Since receiving the book “Minnie’s Costume Contest”, it has become a must have whenever we are in the car. In fact, it has had a perfect place in my car and is revisited every time that we take a drive.

If you love Minnie, you will love this book. As the summer ends and the fall approaches, that means it is time for Minnie’s Annual Halloween Costume Contest! If you love the shorts from “Minnie’s Bowtique”, you will see a few known faces. I love that young kids are able to celebrate Halloween with books like this without all the scary aspect. A must have for any kid!

Book Review “Minnie Minnie’s Bow-tastic Sticker Collection”

Besides “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” one of the best things that Disney Junior has ever done is create the show “Mickey’s Bowtique”. My two year old daughter absolutely loves these shorts (and so does daddy, to be honest). What does a two year love more than watching the show on TV….playing with STICKERS!!

“Minnie Minnie’s Bow-tastic Sticker Collection” comes jam-packed with 48 pages of activities and get ready for this parents…over 1000 stickers. But this isn’t just 1,000 use once and two away stickers. These are reusable stickers! That is the real draw here for this book. A must have for an any Minnie fan. You know what they say “There is no business like bow business”.

DVD Review “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s The Wizard of Dizz”

Just when you think Disney Junior’s “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” cannot get any cuter we get the latest special episode from the show’s fourth season “Minnie’s The Wizard of Dizz”.  This is a new double episode musical version of “The Wizard of Oz”, which aired on June 7th on Disney Junior.  I have to admit it is one of my favorite episodes of the show in recent years. I love the mash-up with “The Wizard of Oz”, it is very fun and…did I mention cute.  My daughter is already a big fan of this new special, especially for the fantastic special features (more on that below).  If you have a baby to pre-schooler this is a must purchase for sure! Disney Junior keep these coming please!

Official Premise: Journey to a wondrous land of enchantment and surprises! The classic tale gets a brand-new twist in Minnie’s new full-length adventure: The Wizard Of Dizz. Before you can say, “pink tornado,” Minnie and Pluto end up in the silly but spectacular land of Dizz. It’s an amazing place, with rainbow trees, butterfly bows, and friendly “Chipmunchkins,” but what Minnie wants most is to get home. Together, Minnie and her new friends Scarecrow Goofy, Mickey the Tin Mouse, and Donald the Lion,set off to ask the wonderful Wizard of Dizz to make their dreams come true. But look out! Bad Witch Pete wants Minnie’s magical, sparkly green shoes, and he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve.

This DVD includes a free downloadable “Minnie Bow-Maker” app for your smartphones.  This will go right on the iPad for my daughter to enjoy.  The special features are excellent includes two additional episodes: “The Golden House”  (Episode 88, Season 3)and “Goofy’s Gone” (Episode 93, Season 3).  But wait there is more with the first ten bonus Minnie’s Bow-Toons mini-episodes from its first season including “Leaky Pipes”, “The Pom Pom Problem”, “Trouble Times Two”, “Figaro’s Friend”, “A Shop in the Dark”, “Flower Fix”, “Dance Lessons”, “In Plane Sight”, “Bow-Bot” and “Fashion Emergency”. These episodes are great and I hope they include more of these on future releases.
