If you love culture and you love travel, then you are probably already well aware that these two do tend to go hand in hand really well. With that in mind, you might want to think about taking a trip somewhere, or a few places, to try and get some great cultural experiences while also having a great trip. If you want to do that, there are a number of cultural capitals which you will find particularly worth seeing, so let’s take a look at some examples that you may want to consider here.
New York
Often touted as the best city in the world, it is certainly true that there is a lot to see in New York, and lots of cultural highlights in particular. There is probably nowhere better in the world to go and see a movie on a huge screen, so that is something you may want to consider if you find yourself here. Alternatively, there are countless amazing museums and galleries, with the Guggenheim a particular favorite. Then there is Broadway too, for any theater-lovers out there. All in all, there is so much culture in this one city that you just have to go and see.
London
A very similar cultural experience to New York is London. Of course, it’s completely different in terms of the actual place. But regarding the fact that it offers just so much culture, you’ll find that it’s pretty amazing what you can experience in London if you really want to. You have the West End – London’s answer to Broadway – and you have all the major art galleries that you could hope for. Milan
For a different kind of culture altogether, you may want to consider a trip to Milan. This beautiful and historic Italian city has so much going for it, including some of the world’s greatest fashion and some of the most revered art too. But one of the things that really sets it apart is its religiosity, especially the cathedral which is one of Europe’s most-loved sites for a good reason. All in all, it’s an amazing place to go and you’ll find that you are very glad you did so.
Barcelona
If you have never seen Barcelona, you’ll want to think about a visit as soon as possible. This Spanish city is thriving with all sorts of magical things, and you’ll be amazed at just how much is going on there all in all. One of the main things that you are going to want to consider is the architecture, which is unlike any elsewhere in the world, and truly astonishing. That alone is reason enough to visit this amazing city, and it’s something that you should certainly consider.
