The “middle of nowhere” has never looked better in this new edition, now remastered for the best high-definition picture yet! In this film Nominated for seven OSCARS®, things go terribly awry when small-time Minnesota car salesman Jerry Lundegaard (William H. Macy) hires two thugs (Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare) to kidnap his wife so he can collect the ransom from his wealthy father-in-law. Once people start dying, the very chipper and very pregnant Police Chief Marge (Frances McDormand) takes the case. Will she stop at nothing until she gets her man? You betcha.

The Big Lebowski is my favorite.
No Country for Old Men
It’s hard to pick a favorite from what are essentially one of the greatest American filmmakers of all time, but I guess my pick would be Barton Fink. It’s like a package of everything that makes the Coens so amazing.
True Grit!
fargo is my favorite. Great crime drama mixed with black humor and brutal violence. Love France Mcdormand
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
O Brother, Where Art Thou
It is hard to pick just one as my favorite! I am going to say that it is a tie between The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou and Fargo! Thanks for the chance!
Barton Fink
O Brother Where Art Thou?
Definitely “The Big Lebowski”. The movie is perfectly cast and acted. It really gets better with age.
Blood Simple
There have been quite a few really good ones, but none come close to Fargo for me.
Gotta be Fargo.
I would have to say true grit.
Tough to choose just one, but it would probably be the Big Lebowski, with Barton Fink a very close second.
The Big Lebowski!
Raising Arizona was awesome!
Fargo 1st with Blood Simple a close 2nd.
The Dude rules! By far the best, “The Big Lebowski”
Another vote for No Country For Old Men
O Brother, Where Art Thou
I loved Miller’s Crossing, because it was a such a elegiac tribute to the 30’s gangster films. Also, it was very impressive, but really underrated. I would have to rank this one in my top three Coen Brothers’ film. The two others are Blood Simple, and A Serious Man.

It has to be Fargo.

Of all their excellent movies my favorite is True Grit. You can’t beat the legion John Wayne.
