  • Merida & Elinor — With the creation of Merida and Elinor, the Pixar filmmakers delved deep into the relationship between mother and daughter.   • Bears — Take a look inside the art and design behind the bears in Brave. Each of the bears, gentle Mum-Bear and terrifying Mor’du, demanded a different approach to creating their physical appearance and personality.

  34. Full disclosure: I had, and still retain, a massive crush on Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.” I think it was the hair…

  39. I’ve been wanting to see this movie for some time. Pixar makes quality entertainment that can be enjoyed over and over again. John Lasseter was a student of my husband when he was in high school… We are very fond of him and we appreciate his movies as good family entertainment. That said…even though all the princesses are beautiful, I have always loved the story of Sleeping Beauty.

  56. It’s tough to choose, but my absolute favorite Disney Princess is Jasmine! Haven’t seen this movie yet so maybe I’ll have a new favorite 🙂

  65. Cinderella’s a classic, but I really liked Tiana from Princess and the Frog as they showed her working for her dreams and wanting to make her father proud which was a really nice spin on the princes story. 🙂

  85. My favorite Disney Princess is Princess Aurora/”Briar Rose” from Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.

  114. I have never liked any other Disney Princess because they were always so dainty and waiting on “her Prince” to come and rescue her. I am glad Disney introduced us to Merida. She is strong willed, determined, a tom-boy, tough, loving, kind, and most importantly……isn’t waiting on her “Prince” for her life to start.
    I LOVE MERIDA!!!!!!
