Film Synopsis:
From Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer comes all the fun, epic adventure and humor that ignited the original. Johnny Depp returns as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. A tale of truth, betrayal, youth, demise — and mermaids! When Jack crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penélope Cruz), he’s not sure if it’s love or if she’s a ruthless con artist using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. Forced aboard the ship of the most feared pirate ever, Jack doesn’t know who to fear more —Blackbeard (Ian McShane) or the woman from his past. Directed by Rob Marshall, it’s filled with eye-popping battle scenes, mystery and all-out wit.

Special Features:
Disney Second Screen Bloopers of the Caribbean
Audio Commentary by director Rob Marshall
LEGO Animated Shorts: Captain Jack’s Brick Tales

115 Replies to “Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Blu-ray Giveaway [ENDED]”

  1. favorite film in this series is Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)

  2. They all are good. But The Curse of the Black Pearl is the one I like the best. This is a great prize I hope I win 🙂

  3. The first was the best. I would love to win this for my Dad for Christmas. He is a HUGE Pirates fan.

  4. I liked the Curse of the Black Pearl the best; it seemed to have more of a story (the search for Elizabeth by Jack and Will and their pirate gang.)

  5. I’ll be different and say At World’s End. I am more of a fan of the movie going experience and don’t waste time picking at the story. If it has great effects, soundtrack, and fun… I am in. In all honesty though… Pearl was the best.

  6. I enjoyed the whole trilogy but liked Dead Man’s Chest most. On Stranger Tides was not bad but I felt like something was missing from it that was present on the trilogy.

  7. The best one in the series is the original, “The Curse of the Black Pearl,” but they are all fun movies!

  8. I actually really like this one – On Stranger Tides – and have been hoping I would receive it as a gift for Christmas. Fingers crossed I may win it!

  9. Well I haven’t seen this last one and I love mermaids, but I would have to say Dead Man’s Chest.

  10. LOVE ALL OF THEM!!! Probably have to say the first was the best because you first get to know Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow!!!

  11. I loved the trilogy; but each subsequent movie was a little less than the previous; I guess the novelty wore off…

  12. The first one was awesome!! If it weren’t for the success of that first one, the rest of the series wouldn’t have come to be. Johnny did a truly amazing job making rough-around-the-edges Jack a lovable character.

  13. My favorite in the series is definitely the first one, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, since it the one that started it all. Even though the entire series is just simply awesome, and yes I used the word awesome. 🙂

  14. Looks like most others have the same taste as myself. Black Pearl it is for me too !

  15. The curse of the black pearl is my favorite but Johhny is nice to look at in all of them!!

  16. On Stranger Tides was great.Look for the original novel on which the movie was “very loosely” based, it was excellent. One of the best fantasy writers working today.

  17. Johnny Depp is good in all of his sequels. But I have the say that the first one was the best!

  18. I love all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The first one is my favorite, although I think On Stranger Tides is my second favorite. They are all really good though.

  19. Hard choice unlike alot of sequals theses are all good, if I had to choose I would say the first because it was the best pirate movie i had ever seen!!

    Thank you,
    Brian

  20. The first Pirates of Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl is my favorite one. I thought it was fresh, had comedy, and much adventures.

  21. I really liked this one the best – On Stranger Tides – not as confusing as the third one

  22. I always think the first movie in a series is the best, and this case is no exception.

  23. The 2nd one because I was running projectors at the time and for whatever reason these tweens and teens kept sneaking in these large bottles of rum. We were told to confiscate any booze brought into the theater ( esp by minors ). We got so quick on the draw that we actually got a number of bottles before they were even open. I was stocked with rum for months thanks to Capt Jack teaching pre-teen girls that drinking rum was cool but not teaching them that if they are going to illegally drink in a public place they should hide their booze in soda cups and not bring full handles of booze into the theater.

  24. “The Curse of The Black Pearl”

  26. Curse of the Black Pearl by a wide margin.

Have not seen On Stranger Tides, but have heard it is excellent.

  27. My favorite film in this series is Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. This is a great giveaway. Thanks for the fantastic opportunity to win.

  28. My favorite film in the Pirates series is By far Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl. It was so original, was so much fun, entertaining, made me laugh, and enjoyed the adventure greatly.
