I have never been a big fan of the band “Placebo”. I know them from their appearance on soundtracks like “Cruel Intentions” and “The Vampire Diaries” mostly. Their music is a little two emo-pop for my taste. This concert was filmed at London’s Brixton Academy in September 2010 during the bands tour to for their album “Battle For The Sun”. I would have to say overall though you would need to be a fan of “Placebo” in order to appreciate and enjoy this release.

The Blu-ray presentation is quite impressive though even though I am not a fan of the band. It is very visual concert with some great digital effects to accompany the bands performance. It reminds me a lot of the video presented with Tool’s concerts. The visual presentation of the video and sound are very good as well. Also includes in an interesting documentary “Coming Up For Air”, which runs about an hour and follows the band on their world tour. The short film “Trigger Happy Hands is also included and definitely worth a watch.

The following tracks are included in this concert:
Nancy Boy
Ashtray Heart
Battle For The Sun
Soulmates
