“Supernatural” is quite a marvel in terms of television that is going on 12 seasons now and honestly shows no end in sight. This show has a really strong and loyal fan base. This show is not my favorite show on TV but it is hit or miss good if that makes any sense. I like it and enjoy it but some episodes feel like such filler as I have felt with other The CW shows like “The Vampire Diaries”. Season 11 still was action packed and included some pretty epic moments. If you are a fan of this series or if you have never seen it and have about 10,000+ spare minutes to bing and catch up, this show is worth checking out, especially since it is still going strong.

Official Premise: Season Eleven plunges Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) into extreme peril as they face The Darkness, a sinister new menace unleashed upon the Earth. They continue their monster-hunting missions, battling the usual werewolves, black-eyed demons and even a vengeful ghost in a stuffed bunny costume, but with a sharp new focus: destroy The Darkness. Needing all the help they can get, the brothers turn to fallen angel Castiel (Misha Collins); King of Hell Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard); and even an unassuming God (Rob Benedict) – only to come face to face with Lucifer and Crowley’s power-hungry witch-mother, Rowena (Ruth Connell). Strap yourself in for the Winchester’s darkest adventures yet as they journey between Heaven and Hell…

“Supernatural” hit a huge milestone mark this year with its approach to its tenth season! A lot of very successful shows have never even hit this mark yet “Supernatural” seems to have an ever growing and very loyal fan base. Plus the show itself seems to be getting better with each season. WB has been fully behind this season from the start and has committed to this show. The shows leads Jared Padalecki (Friday the 13th, “Gilmore Girls”) and Jensen Ackles (“Smallville,” My Bloody Valentine), who play Sam and Dean Winchester, seem to really love playing these characters. The Complete Tenth Season contains all 23 episodes from Season Ten and is also packed with over four hours of bonus content. Plus this show shows no signs of slowing down with “Supernatural” returns for its eleventh season this fall on The CW.

When “Supernatural” started I would have never believe if you if you said that this show was going to be going strong going on ten seasons. But as of this October, the show will be crossing that threshold and I do not see any signs of this show slowing down. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are still as bad-ass as Sam and Dean Winchester. I think why this show has succeeded so long was become it stood strong as a series, there wasn’t any spin-off or prequels etc. I know they tried but decided smartly against it. I hope that “The Walking Dead” doesn’t  jump the shark with their plans for a spin-off series to cash in on the hype. This show is action packed, features great writing and very impressive visual effects. Bring on season ten!

Official Premise: How do you deal with a fallout of heavenly proportions? With the angelic Host’s descent to Earth, Sam and Dean (Padalecki and Ackles) are now facing a world inhabited by thousands of powerful beings, who soon form their own chaotic agendas. Before tackling the threat of the “loose nukes” roaming the globe, however, the Winchesters engage in their most personal conflict yet. Meanwhile, Castiel (Collins) finds he’s more vulnerable — yet capable of more humanity — than ever. As the threat escalates, a way must be found to reopen the gates of Heaven and head off a demon insurrection in Hell. The whole time, darkness leaves its mark on Dean, but has he finally crossed the line to protect his family?

Warner Bros delivered an impressive Blu-ray release. All 23 episodes from season nine are presented in there 1080p transfers with solid DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround tracks. There are some pretty awesome special features included as well. They know how to cater to their fans and deliver the goods. “The Men of Letters Interactive Set Experience” is an interactive menu that unlocks hidden features. “Men of Letters: The Winchester Legacy” dives into the mythology behind the Men of Letters. “Bound by Blood: Decisions and Consequences” looks into the themes for this season. Next is on “Mother’s Little Helper” with writer/EP Adam Glass and director/actor Misha Collins. The last is on “Bloodlines” with EP Jeremy Carver, director/EP Bob Singer, and writer/EP Andrew Dabb. Each has a different feel yet is quite informative on each episode. “Behind the Scenes of Supernatural: A Fan’s Perspective” is a mockumentary hosted by Misha Collins. “Designing the Men of Letters Bunker” features the work of Production Designer Jerry Wanek. Lastly there is “Set Tours with Production Designer Jerry Wanek” checking out the  Crow’s Nest, Library, Lab, Galley, Dorms and Room 7B.

DVD Review “Supernatural Activity”

Actors: Andrew Pozza, Liddy Bisanz, Joey Oglesby, Donny Boaz, Devin Bonnée
Directors: Derek Lee Nixon
Rated: Unrated
Studio: Well Go USA
Release Date: November 6, 2012
Run Time: 90 minutes

Our Score: 0 out of 5 stars

There has been no shortage of spoof’s since the genre became popular again after “Scary Movie”.  Unfortunately 95% of them are absolutely ridiculous. “Supernatural Activity” is absolutely no different and, in fact, probably the worst that I have ever seen.  There is maybe one joke in the whole film that warrants a laugh.  “Supernatural Activity” tries spoofs films like “The Last Exorcism”, “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”, “Cloverfield”, “The Blair Witch Project” and of course the “Paranormal Activity Series”. With the overuse of the found-footage genre, there is plenty to spoof on, though this takes advantage of none of them. The DVD comes bare-bones with no extras besides the film. which doesn’t matter to me at all. If you are looking for a spoof just wait out for “Scary Movie 5” next year.

Official Synopsis: In the realms of reality TV, ghost hunting is big business. And the Supernatural Activity team is at the top of their game, debunking myths, ghouls, and spooky places, for freaked-out viewers everywhere. The world’s most beloved illusionist, accompanied by a crack team of paranormal investigators, embark on what might be their most terrifying assignment yet which works out great, since it s the last episode of the season. Besides, everyone knows there s not really such a thing as ghosts. What could go wrong? Terrorized at every turn, this witch-hunting, ghost-busting, creature-questing supernatural spoof-tacular is the funniest footage ever found! Turn the lights out. Watch with a friend you trust. Keep your eyes on the screen. Order me a sandwich. I m sorry what was I talking about?
