To celebrate the release Rob Zombie’s latest film “The Lords of Salem”, Media Mikes would like to giveaway a SIGNED mini-poster by Rob Zombie and various other great items from the film. House Of A 1000 Corpses, because when it first came out it revitalized the horror genre which at the time was suffering from sequel after sequel of ‘I Know What YOU DID LAST SUMMER’ and others in the Scream franchise. Not only was 1000 Corpses incredibly gritty and violent for the era in which it was made, but it was made like 3 years before it was ever released nationally into theaters.Therefore it pre-dates anything in the new “grindhouse” or “exploitation” zeitgeist that Quentin Tarantino has popularized. Rob did it first. Not only is the film a truly haunting and singular genius artist vision realized but it’s also a film that changed the face of horror movies for the years that followed.

  20. I’m in the extreme minority here, but I’m going to go with Halloween 2. I enjoy all of his films, but I really enjoyed his take on the Halloween story and particularly how he changed the story in the sequel.

  22. The Devil’s Rejects! Even though the ending disappointed me (since Rob killed em all off). Part three of the story would have been nice 😀

  46. As a huge fan of horror films I have to thank Rob Zombie for constantly scarring the shit out of me. I tend to end up laughing in horror films because the actors suck and the film is just stupid. Like the new Texas chainsaw massacre….garbage. Rob needs to revitalize that film as well as Jason and Freddy. For me though its between Devils Rejects and or Halloween. He crushed the Halloween films….both of them but Halloween was amazing. The kid casted was perfect and the way Rob makes everything seem so real it’s uncanny. Like in Halloween when MM beats that other kid to death with a stick. You can just see the horror he is going through especially in the eyes. Anyway yea I just hope he keeps making horror films and I can’t wait to see Lords of Salem.

  48. “Lords of Salem” is now my favorite Rob Zombie film. The imagery is astounding! Go see it with an open mind and you’ll be impressed!

  59. The Devil’s Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses are both two of my all time favorite movies. Rob Zombie rocks!
