  1. The Departed! Everyone was terrific in the film, and it was a masterful thriller, suspenseful and engrossing.

  2. Martin Scorsese did alot of great films! But I would have to agree with Matt Pleem, that
‘GoodFellas’ is also my favorite! Great story, great acting…I love the film!

  3. Hard call, I would have to say ‘The Age of Innocence’ (odd I know), but I like the tough stuff too.

  4. I was looking a list of all his films on IMDB and it was a tough choice but I have to go with Taxi Driver.

  5. Mean Streets. (Johnny Boy is so stupid he doesn’t know to get out of the way of an oncoming train).

“What’s the matter, you too good for this ten dollars? Huh? You too good for it? It’s a good ten dollars. Know somethin’ Mikey? You make me laugh. You know that?”

  6. Hugo. I wasn’t really a fan of the guy until Hugo came out. All the others I don’t really want to see more than the one time. But Hugo, I could watch more than once.

  7. Hugo, definitely Hugo. It is very rare that a film captures such magic, sheer joy, sadness, and beauty all at once. The cinematography was gorgeous and well deserving of the Oscar and no other director around today could have made this as special as Marty did with his love for film preservation. After the movie was over I wanted to give him a hug for showing such a beautiful tribute to the magic of cinema. I even saw it a few times just because the 3D was stunning, for sure the way it should be done. Bravo Scorsese, I was pulling for you Oscar night!

  8. This was a wonderful movie. It should have won for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

  9. Taxi Driver was the movie that introduced me to Scorsese way back when, so it wins on the “first love” principle.

  10. My favorite Scorsese film is “Casino”, because I think that all three lead performances-DeNiro, Stone, and Pesci-are incredible.

  11. Martin Scorsese, the master of cinema. My favorite film by him is, Taxi Driver

  12. Awesome movie. My daughter and I went and were thrilled with the results and cinemotgraphy. My son was sick and missed out on it. Hope to get this so he can watch it.

  13. Casino has to be Scorsese’s most ambitious and underrated film. The art direction along with all of the acting is superb. The acting from the stars in Casino is some of the best in all of their careers.
