To celebrate the Blu-ray release of HBO’s “Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season””, Media Mikes would like to giveaway ONE copy of the first season on Blu-ray. If you would like to win this great prizes, please leave us a comment below or send us an email and let us know your favorite episode or character from the first season. This giveaway will be open until Tuesday March 13th at Noon, Eastern Time and is only open to residents of the United States. Only one entry per person, per household; all other entries will be considered invalid. Once the giveaway ends, Media Mikes will randomly pick out winners and alert the winners via email.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.   6. A tie between the beautiful and vicious Cersei Lannister and the witty Tyrion Lannister. Probably Tyrion, because he usually has the best lines. Best episode? Baelor; it changed the game, while being the most exciting and suspenseful episode.

  10. Unfortunately, I have never even seen “Game of Thrones”. But I have heard alot of great things about the show! Though I would love to be able to win a copy and be able to check it out first-hand! I hope that I am not disqualified from this particular giveaway for having never seen the series?

  11. Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things is my favorite episode of Season 1 and Tyrion is my favorite character.

  16. Arya Stark and Tyrion Lannister are my favorites for sure. They are amazing in the books and perfectly portrayed in the series, too.

  38. Tyrion Lannister is my favorite character, so I just know they’ll kill him off in Season 2.

  40. I’ve only seen the last episode, so I don’t have a favorite yet, and I’m looking forward to catching reruns so I can be caught up for the second season.

  50. I’ve only seen one episode at a hotel in Ohio. Didn’t even know what I was watching and it was awesome. It was the episode that the young child was pushed from the window. Don’t know what happened, but love to get this to watch on my Blu Ray player since I got pulled into the show and don’t have cable.

  53. Hard to answer because I haven’t seen the first season yet. ( Seemed like the kind of thing I’d want to watch in one shot so I’ve been waiting for the season boxset. )

    From casting alone, I’ll go with Tyrion because Dinklage is my 2nd favor little actor ( behind Warwick Davis ).

  54. The episode ‘A Golden Crown’ when they melted the gold and poured it on top of Visery’s head in order to kill him.

  64. Daenerys Targaryen is my favorite character! I love how she’s grown in confidence and just really come into her own.

  89. My favorite episode is ‘The Pointy End’, because I think it contains the most character development for Arya, my favorite character from Season 1.
