  1. That hoodie looks great, fingers crossed! I love Matt Smith, he’s such a perfect blend of all the previous Doctors. (I love all of them really!)

  2. love both Smith and Tennant but i think they would have been lees then without their great companions …. Rose and Amy

  3. My favorite doctor is Chris Eccleston because without him, we would have never been reminded (or re-introduced to) what a fantastic show it truly is.

  4. I was sad when Eccleston left, but I came to love Tennant as much and then some. So, 9 & 10 are my favorites. I also like the very first Doctor (Hartnell).

  5. I always like Dr. Smith on Lost in Space, but I must admit I wouldn’t want him as real doctor.

  6. I would have to say Tom Baker the 4th Doctor. He is the one who got me into the show and I am still a fan to this day. (Tennant my fave of the new Doctors)

  7. My Doctor is David Tennant. It was his acting that got me hooked on the series. I even went back and watched a lot of the stuff from my childhood. Back then, I remember it was Tom Baker and it always seemed like something I should have been watching, but didn’t.

  8. My favorite doctor is Dr. Krebsbach because he saved my life. Hope that counts as you didn’t say it had to be a Doctor Who doc.

  9. It’s a hard call, Eccleston was my first doctor, He just had that power eminating from him, like you know you’re in trouble if he’s coming at you. Though, Tennant is hard not to like, he was quirky and stylish, and when he did snap worlds are coming down to get what he wants.

  10. My favorite is the 2nd doctor as he really captured the true spirit of the doctor we see in today regenerated personas of the doctor.

  11. I’ve watched since the 60s. I’ve liked every doctor. Tom Baker though, he’d win as my favorite. With Matt Smith right after.

  12. I suppose I would say that Tom Baker was the favorite only because he was the first Doc I enjoyed, the one that got me totally HOOKED on Dr. Who. I was SO happy when they brought him back! And now the most fun thing is I have Grandkids who LOVE it too. Little Whovians

  13. My favorite doctor is Eleven because he can light up your day with his goofiness and child-like nature but then turn around and make you cry by all his hidden sadness and pain.

  14. My Grandson loves this show and would love it ( he is 22)I I am on a fixed income- this would be his Christmas Present ( I DO BELIEVE-I DO BELIEVE)

  15. favorite Doctor and why

I harly ever got to see any of these bbc seroes..ill sat matt smith the only one i can remember

  16. David Tennant will always be my favorite doctor. He just seemed like he was having so much fun, especially when he was on set with Catherine Tate, their episodes are among my all time favorites.

  17. David Tennant – he truly represented the perfect Doctor Who. Goofy yet handsome and his energy level – wow! He is a great actor.

  18. it will always be the Doctor of my childhood, Tom Baker! … amongst “modern” Doctors, though, definitely Tennant

  19. David Tennant not only because he was my first doctor but because he seemed to have the most fun in his time being the doctor. every other doctor had a lot more peril and drama

  20. I think they all brought their own unique “branding” to the Doctor, so I really like them all. It is interesting to see the differences each reincarnation brings and I think that is how it should be! I think that for most people, the “FIRST DOCTOR” that you see, is usually your favorite.

  21. My daughter is the Dr. Who obsessed one in the house, so I would give her the prize if I win. SHE loves Dave Tenant because he’s “cute” she says. She loves everything SciFi and she glues to the screen for Dr. Who marathons

  22. The tenth Doctor (David Tennant) will always be my favorite, he was the Doctor when I first started watching the show and I think he acted the part better than the rest. Was sad to see him go!

  23. David Tennant because I loved his relationship with Rose and his friendship with Donna. His sparkling personality shone so brightly in every episode and I cried so much when he said, “I don’t want to go!” as his final line. He had that goofy, lovable nature but could very easily get serious when needed. I could go on and on but I don’t want to ramble. 😀

  24. My kids both love Doctor Who, and they say the 11th doctor is best, because of the way he treats his companion.

  25. I’d have to say Tom Baker. He was a great doctor, and I loved him having the extra companion K-9.

  26. Why does everyone make me choose! Lol! I have loved every Doctor I have seen so far, and I’m sure I will love all of the ones I haven’t seen yet. My favorite is always the Doctor I happen to be watching at the moment, I think. I always think I know which one is my favorite, but then I go back and re-watch old episodes and fall in love with that Doctor all over again. I loved Christopher Eccleston, I loved David Tennant, and I love(d) Matt Smith. If I absolutely have to choose, I would say (at the moment!) Matt Smith is my favorite, because I thought there was no way I could love the 11th Doctor after having to say goodbye to 10. But, he managed to completely win me over!

  27. I forgot to put my email in the comment above, not sure if I need to or not, but here it is just in case. ilikevindiesel(at)yahoo.com Thanks for the chance!

  28. David Tennant. I started watching Dr. Who with the new series, so David Tennant is the Doctor I’ve known for the longest amount of time. I also love the way he can be both funny and quite dark.

  29. I would love to win this for my daughter in law. She is an avid fan and likes David Tennant because he’s cute!

  30. David Tennant was my first Doctor, so he has my loyalty. He was very energetic and intense in his delivery, which helps. I do love them all for different reasons, though.

  31. Tom Baker & Peter Davison & Jon Pertwee were my favorite Doctors. I watched religiously during their stays as The Doctor and the newer incarnations of The Doctor never really felt real or credible to me.

  32. David Tennant will always be my favorite Doctor. He had such great chemistry with Donna, my favorite companion!

  33. Nine had a wonderful ability to show all sides and be the villain and the hero.
But, Ten was brilliant, and intriguing.
Eleven was like a best friend, showing the universe to everyone.

  34. My favorite Doctor is David Tennant. He was adventurous and self-sacrificing. David’s Doctor was suave yet goofy. And he rocked the Converse shoes with his pinstriped suit.

  35. I just started watching Doctor Who, and I love it. I would have to say my favorite doctor(s) would be David Tennant and Matt Smith. Their characters are very similar, bug at the same time very different. Smith is like a young Tennant, also I loved their styles.

  36. David Tennant was my favorite Doctor because he was the one who gave it his all. His Doctor was relatable, passionate and I miss him!

  37. After hearing about the Doctor for so long, I suggested to my family that we try it out on Netflix. Now my 27 year old daughter-iin-law, my 7 year old grandson and myself all love the Doctor. We have been watching marathon style for weeks now and can’t get enough! My favorite doctor? Matt Smith 🙂

  38. Matt Smith is my favorite doctor because he is very whimsical. I loved the episode where he took Van Gogh to the future.

  39. I am entering your “Doctor Who” 50th Anniversary Official Merchandise Giveaway.
It would be great to win the officially licensed Doctor Who hoodie.
In response to your question of
Who is your favorite Doctor and why?
My favorite Doctor is David Tennant because he was the first one i saw playing the doctor.
I haven’t watched many episodes of “Doctor Who” but i liked the ones he was in.
Thank you for having this giveaway!!!!!!

  40. David Tennant, the tenth doctor – He is worldly and likes to say things in other languages. Allons-y!

  41. I love David “Ten Inch” Tennant as the 10th doctor. He is sexy, has a great sense of humor, has the coolest sonic screwdriver ever, the best Tardis interior, a fantastic catch phrase, and he wears Chuck Taylor High Tops!!!!

  42. Have to say, Tennant is my favorite! Eccleston was a bit too normal, and Matt is a little too kooky. Tennant has the right mixture of eccentric, sentimental, and genius to work. Plus I really love the Bad Wolf story line.

  43. Gonna have to go with Matt Smith at the moment– though mainly because he’s the Doctor I’ve watched most recently, and I always love the most recent Doctor because they’re all wonderful!

  44. The sixth doctor, played Colin Baker was the one I liked the most, his character was so compelling.

  45. Dr. Who from a British science-fiction television programme produced by the BBC because it depicts the adventures of the Doctor, a Time Lord—a time-travelling humanoid alien.

  46. My daughter like David Tennant. They like that he wears Converses and that he is “too funny”

  47. Tom Baker is my favorite! He was the first Doctor I saw when I watched it on PBS with my Dad (30 yrs ago!)

  48. My favorite Doctor was Tom Baker because for many fans of the show he was the quintessential Doctor Who and even though I’ve never seen any Doctor Who episodes I would really like to see some with Tom Baker to determine if he really did embody the character.

  49. i’ve actually never seen an episode of this so I really cannot say but if I won I would give these items to my brother who is a Dr. Who freak

  50. I find it so hard to choose between 10 and 11, so excited to see how different or alike 12 will be…Whovians Unite o/
