As the weather gets hotter where else would you rather be than inside a cool movie theatre seeing a new film before your friends. Media Mikes and CBS Films have teamed up to bring you the chance to see the new film, “The Kings of Summer,” at a special screening on Tuesday, June 18th. The film, starring Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso and Moises Arias, opens in Kansas City Friday, June 21st.
All you have to do to win a pair of passes to the premiere is tell us below what your favorite summer activity is. Playing ball. Going on a picnic. Or just soaking up the sun. The first (50) people to give us their comments will receive a pass for (2) to the screening. Winners will be notified NLT noon on Monday, June 17th.

When I was a kid it was just about being gone all day. We would ride our bikes, go to the dime store to buy candy or just hang out with the neighborhood kids and play. Now I like to just relax soaking up the sun when I can.

My favorite is going swimming at Ocean’s of fun and taking our summer vacation trip to Atlanta, miami, Ocean City or Seattle. Just depends on where we decide to go as a family.
It may not be a summer activity, I enjoy golf in the fresh air. If not golfing taking my 2 children to the swimming pool and going to the drive in to enjoy the movie outdoors.
Walking for hours, going to movies, and spending summer months with my grandkids. This summer my great nephew is coming to spend a month with me. He is 9. It should be a good summer.
Sitting in the bleachers and watching my son and the other players on the football team conduct summer drills. Warm breeze and thinking about the possibilities for the upcoming season.

I like to travel in the summer. It is so enjoyable to see beautiful scenery, do some playing in the ocean, and having a new dining experience.
I always look forward to evening strolls with my family on the beautiful Plaza and going in to peruse the books at Barnes & Nobles.
