“Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated” is a mass collaborative artistic re-envisioning of George A. Romero’s 1968 cult classic, “Night of the Living Dead”. International artists and animators were invited to select scenes from the film and reinvent them through their artwork. Open to all styles, media and processes the results ran the gamut with scenes created in everything from puppet theater to CGI, hand drawn animation to flash, and oil paintings to tattoos. This cacophony of works was organized and curated across the original film’s time line in order to create a completely original video track made entirely out of art. The result of this project is an experimental take on the cult classic. What it forfeits in visual continuity, it gains in variety.

If you are looking for a tried and true horror film, then go see “George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead”. If you are looking for a film that approaches the horror genres from an entirely new direction, then prepare yourself for the mindbending artistry that is “Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated”.

  1. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but if I have to narrow it down it would be a tie between Todd Sheets Zombie Bloodbath Trilogy and Return of the Living Dead.

  2. All time favorite zombie film? Too many to call “favorite”, but if I had to choose just one….the original Dawn of the Dead, with 28 Weeks Later a close second (if you count it a zombie film).

  3. Have to say the Italian flick Zombie.Just because it was the first one I saw as a kid.

  4. favorite is probably “the dead next door” by j.r. bookwalter! love that guys stuff!

  5. Lots of choices but I’d say Day of The Dead for it’s Gorillaz inspiring soundtrack, first attempts to pin down the biology of Zombies and, of course, Bub.

  6. My favorite is the original,(1968)”Night of the Living Dead”. It’s a classic! and father of ALL zombie films.

  7. The original and the remake of Dawn of the Dead. Shaun of the Dead is amazing as well.

  8. I mus go with 68 original black and white “Night” There was other Zombie and horror flicks before that but none of them NONE treated their main charcters like Night did. Took a lot of balls in 68 and its one of the prime reasons it holds up today.

  9. The original Night of the Living Dead. it changed all future zombie movies . Georg Romero really shocked movie goers. i’m a big fan of this movie. Would love to win!

  10. There is debate on whether 28 Days Later qualifies as a “zombie” movie, so if I cant pick that, then The Serpent and the Rainbow

  11. My favorite zombie movie is Night of the Comet. I know, I know it’s a bit B movie but it was the first one I ever saw so I love it.

  12. Night, if it will not keep you riveted to your seat then you too may be a zombie.

  13. Really enjoyed NOTLDRA so I’d love to win a DVD to show off to my friends. As for my favorite zombie movie, I’ll say original Dawn of the Dead.
